Hello, I would like to ask about shutter speed. How I can for S mode - speed (camera 5) change the shutter priority and iso. For catching speed subjects is very slow in not good condicions. It woudl be good set up speed as 1/500 and iso automatic or something like that. I tried it in settings but didn't work, also I tried pro mode but also nothing change. Thank you for reply.

Setting manually the ISO and shutter speed requires you to use the HDR Enhanced otherwise it doesn't work.

because the dev dont want to (or there's not a easy way).
Yeah GCAm on old oneplus (1, 2, 3, 5 and probably more) got the sphere, while they didn't had it stock.

Wait for S23 to come cheaper, so more popular thus someone find a way.

Because on s22 and fold the photo sphere works.

What are HD++RNET & PRO button for? Anyway, thanks for this, really OUTSTANDING RESULTS! Just one thing i'd like to get help for (in order not to mess everything) : how to make exposure base setting higher? It's very low in compare to stock, way too low i'd say.

i installed LMC8.4_R17_Scan3D.apk and LMC_17_v13 config. but photosphere not working. i need photosphere. how to make it work ?
I haven't tested it in Java's latest xml but it can work. For that, you have to give up his sport mode. Go to settings, all the way down, additional cameras, list ids manually. Change id5 to 0.
Now if you tap the S lens (which is id5), app will crash. Then you long tap gcam, take selfie. Once you're back in gcam selfie viewfinder, you can tap modes, photosphere and it will start.
It's not pretty, but it's the only way that I know. At least changing ID to 0 is only done once (might want to save xml to another name if you want to alternate between s cam for photo sphere or s cam for sports like in original Java xml)

Samsung for god's sake, how is it possible that yours's camera sucks so much?!

Yes and no. All versions of Samsung camera in all modes are embarrassingly bad in good light. Sharpening halos everywhere, circus colors, unnecessarily high contrast, usually over HDR'd.

However IMO they tend to do, on average, soenwagt better in difficult conditions. GCAM really struggles in low contrast low light situations unless you manually turn on NS.

Hello everyone, friends! I am glad to present you new configs for S23u for AGC 8.8 V7.0 - Mazar V5.

    Changes and improvements:
    1) reworked shadows. Now the volume has become significantly larger in all conditions and in all shooting modes due to slightly different light capture, slightly greater dehaze and minor adjustments to the contrast settings. (Thanks to JavaSabr for the idea to raise the gamma contrast a little higher)
    2) applied a tone curve to all modes and lenses, adjusted to ensure uniform illumination of light throughout the entire image (HDR quality)
    3) Shutter speed in HDR NS, Night and Sport HDR NS from 1/7 reduced to 1/8 for even less blur
    4) slight correction of noise reduction on all modules and modes, also relatively due to changes in shutter speed in night modes
    5) saturation was slightly reduced based on the change in dehaze
    6) various minor adjustments to optimize performance

The shooting modes have not changed, so their correct use is described in my previous post. All good photos, I try for you!)

Configs: Don't forget to unpack the archives before importing!)

Have uploaded new version of my config for AGCv7 and all s23

I welcome everyone! I am glad to present you a new version of the config for AGC8.8 V6 - Mazar V3. There are a lot of changes compared to the previous version. Also, please read the post about shooting modes. Some of them have changed in purpose a little. I'll start with the changes.

    Changes and improvements:

    1) Redesigned noise reduction on all modules and in all modes. Telephoto optimization for s23u
    2) Completely redesigned light and shadow settings. Now there is more volume in the room due to the greater capture of light, but during the day it retained brightness.
    3) Worked with SABR. Changed the saber contrast value for more voluminous images - in fact, an analogue of sharping
    4) LDR(Vibrant) mode has now replaced the previous LDR(+Contrast) I used to have. Its purpose is the same as the main mode, but more contrasting and colorful. Thanks to JavaSabr for the idea.
    5) Noise model for s23u for 3x telephoto - Pixel 6 Pro
    6) HDR NS redesigned on all modules. Now he gives exactly that picture in the afternoon according to HDR, which evens out shadows and removes highlights. In the room, I corrected its excess illumination.
    7) all modules are switched to forced processing through HEXAGON
    8) Various minor improvements under the hood for more stable camera and photo processing

About the shooting modes I also want to say how to use them more competently:

    1) Main mode - the main shooting mode in zsl. Suitable for most scenes. But it doesn't have as high dynamic range as HDR NS
    2) LDR(Vibrant) - essentially the same main mode. But with higher contrast and richer colors. Use if you like this
    3) HDR (+ NS) - essentially the same as the main mode, which is more suitable for static, night scenes. It has a wider DD, but there is more blurring in motion than in Main mode. This must be taken into account.
    4) Night (-exp) - essentially the same HDR NS, but with a lower exposure and ISO, suitable for atmospheric night, urban evening shots. Use if you need something like this.
    5) Sport HDR(+NS) - faster version of HDR NS. Gives you more freedom to move. But there will be more noise in the evening. Compromise for speed.

JavaSabr also has these shooting modes and showed everything in the screenshots.

All successful use! I want to thank all the comrades in my tedegram group who tested this config with me. Nothing would have been possible without you! If you need any help with gcam and config - write here, or better in private messages. At the same time I invite you to the group in the telegram

What is the best config for s23u ? Apologies but im not someone who understands a lot when it comes to camera settings. Probably suggesting best default config of AGC/LMC (without touching the config) would be fine. Appreciate it a lot Thanks !
It's not really the best config that matters - just download the latest one and use it. The thing is that you have to know when to use them. For example javasabr for AGC has 3 main profiles, sharp, medium and soft - load any that you prefer - sharper photos have more noise, more contrast and are closer to stock Samsung photos. Next thing are the internal (sub)profiles - "disable", "ka", "Natural-ZSL" and so on - again you have to know when to use them when taking photos.
"disable" is useful when taking photos in HDR - it is closest to stock Samsung HDR, other profiles are almost useless in high contrast, for example taking pictures in semi dark room with a window on a sunny day - either the window is "whited-out" or the room interior is too dark. "disable" profile works best in conjunction with HDR+ or HDRnet enabled. Both are still far from Samsung default light balance (but Samsung default is bad for other reasons).
Color settings are personal preference, for me defaults are good for most situations BUT there are some with intensive colors (some deep red flowers) the get bluish-white tint instead of pure purple in default color profile - in such case using arnova color profile works wonders.
Alternatively, instead of "disable" you can use HDR-NS profile - it "forces" Night Sight photos in daytime and shows basically the same results as "disable" with HDR+ - you should test how it works for moving objects before counting on it. Theoretically Sport-NS should work well in such case as it takes less pictures to combine, does it quicker and has lower chance of motion artefacts.
Personally for everyday photos I use Vibrant-ZSL with arnova color profile since I mostly take pictures of static objects.
Oh, and one thing, the latest javasabr AGC profile for S23U has (I think by mistake?) enabled "upscale images" (x1.3) by default so it takes 16Mpix photos - at least for soft variation.
