Hey, thanks for the update!
mind giving me details of which version?
also any special other mods or changes you had to make to get 1. mobile data, 2. sms/mms working?
I've tried a darklord version 10 days ago, and had no data, no sms/mms on verizon.... :(

thanks for the update !

I'm having trouble with Temasek's Unofficial CyanogenMOD with disconnects every time trying to cast to any TV that supports screen mirroring.

And I can't get full phone encryption working with it either, it reboots during the initial encryption process.

Anyone know a ROM that the screen casting (mirroring) works on?

While trying to research RIL/baseband for CM13, I have tested virtually every ROM for n900v with various combinations of KK and LP modems.

So far, these are the only two that have worked for me...and I must say that the first works VERY well... tempted to use their sources to build out CM13.

1. Dirty Unicorns v9.8 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/orig-development/rom-dirty-unicorns-v9-0-t3006601)

With the OF1 modem/non-hlos, DU 9.8 has working LTE right out of the box, and seems to be a very mature ROM.

2. LiquidSmooth 4.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-liquidsmooth-v4-0-lollipop-t3008474)

Liquidsmooth is the only other ROM I have been able to have establish reliable cellular and mobile data. Also using the OF1 modems, but LTE is NOT working reliably. Setting to 3G as preferred works fine and persists through reboots.

3. UPDATE: CM11 OFFICIAL works if you install and boot Dirty Unicorns first, then wipe and flash CM11.. **not working after further testing**

4. CM13...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...opment/rom-temaseks-unofficial-build-t3364382

I have been on my own modded version of Temaseks CM13 for over a week and have had no issues whatsoever. Rock solid.

Anyone else have anything working?
I'm still have gps problems I can get a lock. I'm on the latest version of cm13

You run sprints version on verizon note 3?
Yes.... Requires some knowledge to make it installable, but I have not had any build as stable as it was in early April.

There are plenty of posts about it in this thread I think... this thread led into Trader's VZW build.

The current problems, however, are with the CM base itself... so are present in all builds.

Mightysween,

Thanks for the quick reply. Where is there download for Sprints verison of temaseka CM13? Would you be able to draft a write up of how to install it?

I am not sure if the builds are still out there, but search around and you may find one.

As for the how-to...it is all here on XDA :).

You may be better off sticking with the hltevzw builds anyway... Eventually the issues will get sorted out.

The hltevzw build and hltespr builds are identicle other than some build.prop mods for the verizon network, and the device assert for the installation zip, there is no reason to be modifying sprint temasek roms to work on hltevzw.

The same bugs should be present in the sprint rom and verizon.

As for where downloads are, here (look in the old foler if looking for older builds, i think they go back to 7.4 for my builds). installing it requires very little modification and if no one else is willing I can give you a quick write up when i'm free. However as explained above, the hltevzw builds are identicle to the hltespr builds other than instead of working on the sprint network they work on verizon. The same bugs should be present in SPR && VZW builds.

The question was that CM13 seemed more functional prior to the hltevzw builds existing. I still run the hltespr from April 7. Any later build date, and I have run into issues. Kernel probs/reboots, sensor/GPS lock probs, etc

April 7 build has working GPS and is very stable... More so than any current CM13 based builds.

SM-N900V on CM13 Radio working

When i noticed the bootloader unlock I was extatic, but I knew there probably wouldn't be many reliable roms out there. I ran into most of the problems I've read through in these forums, mostly no radio or sms even though I followed instructions to a T. It came down to Flashing a radio zip SPECIFICALLY for the 900v. See, when I would get CM13 installed, my phone suddenly shows up as a 9005. Now, I don't pretend to know anything about android development, but I DO know firmware, "drivers"... they tell software how to use the hardware they're operating on. If My phone thinks it's a 9005, it probably also thinks it has a 9005 modem. There were other little quirks like governors, but i won't get into that . In the Jasmine Rom 6.1 announcement page/instructions, there's a little section at the end for "Developer mode" phones. It had 2 additional files to flash after the rom. A standalone kernel, and STANDALONE BASEBAND. I had seen several people say their 900v was now "developer" or something, so i had an idea. Here was the process:

Into twrp 3.0.2, running Jasmine 6.1...
Factory wipe, Flash latest CM13 9.9, wipe dalvik, flash google apps, wipe dalvik, flash CM13 9.9 AGAIN (not even sure this step is necessary), wipe dalvik, flash SU, wipe dalvik, REBOOT INTO DOWNLOAD MODE, Flash N900VVRUE00F1_Modem.tar.md5, reboot into recovery, factory restore.......

Finally, booted to system and I'll be a sumbitch, the radio's working.
I'm willing to wager all those other roms i tried out, where the radio refused to work, would all work if i had just flashed this baseband. THAT'S EXCITING.
I'm shocked I never read about anyone else doing this, or why i didn't think of it before: that there was a way to flash individual parts of the whole "ROM".
I later flashed the kernel from the Developer files as well via Odin. "lk_hltevzw-v6.4"
What I Wish I knew how to do is take a factory rom or flashable zip and make flashable versions of the kernel, baseband, bootloader perhaps, etc.

Anyway, I genuinely hope my trials help you guys get some cool roms up and running on our 900V's.

Is this the right file?

Hi. Thanks for sharing this fix that you discovered. I'm not real knowledgeable about ROM flashing, etc., so I want to make sure that I'm using the correct file. Is this the JasmineROM announcement page that contains the correct radio file you used?:

[ROM] [LP] [5.0] [RE/DE] [Xposed] [MultiSystem] JasmineROM v6.1 [Sep 11, 2015]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62769340&postcount=11940

Since I'm a noobie XDA user, it took me forever to find this thread. Is it the correct one? Again, thanks for sharing this information.

FWIW, here is the build I am running already modded to remove the assert and have basic VZW functionality in build.prop

Use at your own risk :)

Thanks.

Do you have the original (trader418) file cm-13.0-20160407-UNOFFICIAL-temasek-hltespr-V6.1.zip ? I looked on @trader418's basketbuild and google drive, the "OLD" stuff there only runs back to about 04/29-30 or so.

I'd like to compute the deltas (hltespr -> hltevzw). Or is literally the only two changes in build.prop and the assert in the installer?

I'd like to get off of rooted stock; the only thing that holds me back is GPS. (I don't care at all about NFC and very little about BT).

Yes, that's the right page, download "FLASH N900VVRUEOF1 modem via Odin" located under the "For Developer Edition". The file is named "N900VVRUEOF1_Modem.tar.md5.7z"

unzip the file, then flash it via Odin.
