Root Samsung Galaxy SM-J730* On Oreo 8.1.0
Hello all,
Again with Samsung Oreo security and as described Here

Now the security arrived to Galaxy J7 Pro (2017) and here is a hex patch (Built in Magisk) to disable the security:
Flashing in TWRP: https://mega.nz/#!3UwCyYrC!vf4m7GYfXMEWk0JhP-EUYHhVzbKXRT0UqXqEOQYFS4w

Tested & confirmed working

You welcome but don't forget this:

Noted yes!
BTW, I shared the link with an XDA forum who is helping me in restoring my system

As I write, my system is a j7pro (SM-J730GM). Do you have any news on how successful it works with that model?
My issue was that after going through this link (see below) my mobile was NOT rooted. So I was urged to use your Defex.
Any thought from your side?
Thank you.

It is working fine on all SM-J730* series, i think you need to reflash the full stock and disable the RMM state after it allows you to flashing custom binaries

Defexer changes Model number

Hi Defexer,

I just notice that your tool is changing the Model number. Here what changed:

>> Original Model number:
-- SM-J730GM/DS

>> New Model number:
-- SM-J710FN

Does that create the security warning I am getting since applying your tool? See also my message from just before.

see also DM
