worth buying a z3 in 2017? or is it too outdated???

hello everyone, i just bought a brand new z3 d6653 off eBay for $155USD but had a lot of problems that i won't go in to, so i am sending it back for a full refund or replacement...

so my question, is it even worth getting a replacement for this for 3 year old phone? is it going to be outdated soon where a lot of apps won't work??? or should i get a refund and look for a newer phone?

I'm not really concerned about phone specs because from my short experience it is well are truly fast enough for what i use it for.

I think definitely worth it , it has everything that 2017 flaghips smartphones has but 3 years before. This are the tops features for me:
-Dual-front stereo speakers
-IP68 certified
-Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.5GHz, Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM, runs everything smooth even some demanding 3D games
-Battery lasts for 2-3 days with STAMINA Power Saving Mode (only in Kitkat and Lollipop are well implemented)
-Hi-res audio trough headphone jack
-Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, FM radio
I myself bought a xperia Z3 for $165 from Ebay, and i think for this price is an absolute steal.
I woulnd't recommend it if you want a top camera and play the latest games, but for everything else it's the perfect phone
