I have rooted Mi A1 and using Resurrection Remix OS. I have rooted device with Megisk and also installed TWRP recovery. Now I want to back to stock rom. So, I want to know that can I get OTA update after I unroot my phone?
I assume you want latest Official Pie stock OTA. Then you need to be on previous Official stock. Moreover, since you flashed custom ROM you may need to change setting in TWRP to only mount /system read-only. Because OTA notices you once mounted it read-write.I have rooted Mi A1 and using Resurrection Remix OS. I have rooted device with Megisk and also installed TWRP recovery. Yes you are right,I want to go back official Pie update. I try to find the related thread but can't get (find) it, so can you please help me. I don't know much about this rooting and last time I tried I ended up in bootloop.I assume you want latest Official Pie stock OTA. Then you need to be on previous Official stock. But, if all you want is latest Official Pie stock, you may want to flash it via TWRP, or flash every partition via fastboot. There are forum threads explaining how. Make sure you keep track of which of the A/B set you are currently in because next ROM will go to opposite one.
Good luck
The TWRP is in "[TWRP] Stock Pie Stable [9.0][V10.0.3.0][December Security Patch]" thread.Yes you are right,I want to go back official Pie update.
