Would it be possible to recover my files via download mode? My phone is using ZVG.

Well. my phone has the boot loop problem. I was able to get my phone to boot by using the freezer method but not on long enough to recover anything. :( After a bit of googling I discovered this method: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/data-recovery-via-download-mode-t3306047 which states that it may be possiable to recover my files via download mode. I tried doing this but discovered that I couldn't flash anything because anything I flashed was too old. I was wondering if anyone has been able to successfully been able to connect using Send_Command on ZVG.

I'm getting these errors when I try and run it.

After a little fiddling around with the connection I got to the point where the connection wouldn't time out but instead the progress bar on download mode flashes and now I get this:

ZVG is android MM right?

I forgot sudo in the command..

Try this while in lglaf folder in the terminal:
sudo su -
(you get asked for the FWUL password)
Then do the extraction command again

Still didn't work. :(
Hm. Same error message or is it somehow different?

Try also this:

In FWUL open the LG folder and double click the "without auth" icon.

You should see a prompt

Type:
uname -a

Paste the output.

There is a screenshot maker included in FWUL check the OP screenshots for a how-to use and upload ;)

Then do the same again but this time double click the icon "with auth"

Also share that output.

Are you available for a remote session tomorrow?
