I am being a bit skeptical here... why is the USB cable connected if not for a Remote Desktop fake? I don't believe the HD2 booting WP7 before I don't see it without any cables connected out in the jungle with no other electronic device in WLAN range :p

Yeah this was the reason why I was saying its up to people to decide if its fake, however this guy seems to have a lot of street cred.

Now if this is true, and I'm sure it is, I'm happy to own this masterpiece of hardware.

But!! Windows is not Android. Its not open source. It will be much more of work to get the things done, like it was with Android this year.

Amazing. I can't wait.

Queue the Triple/Quad booting apps now, lol.

OK, we need an app that gives us the option to boot the following:

Meego
Ubuntu
Android w/ diff builds
Winmo 6.5
WinMo 7

Get on it!
Technically 6, someone got WM6.1 working.

Still awesome. 6 different operating systems that can be installed on one phone.

this guy made HSPL, which means its possible to you to throw every ROM to your HD2 in a safe way. Cotulla is the king.

hd2 was originally going to have a wp7 upgrade, until earlier this year, when microsoft stated they would only have phones with 3 button (hd2 has 5) - therefore development must have already begun on the hd2 then ported over onto newer devices by the MS devs...

just remember - it's all possible...

I'm so gitty!

Thank you Cotulla for giving us hope. :p

Your video execution was too perfect. The buzz has already begun, and I'm sure Microsoft and HTC will be keeping a close eye on this news until Monday :D

Does anyone know how to donate to Cotulla and the Darkforces team?

2 things

the way the blue tiles float in has not been accomplished by no hd2 wp7 theme, and cotullas videos show this animation. Also the battery icon has a "?" in it, witch means that is not yet working, just like android in its early stages on hd2.

REAL!
