I need some 100% working tools that can work with D000FF images . Dump okay, but not sure about building (haven't searched or asked DaG yet). The rest is fine, since I can flash on HD2 as much as I want WP7 hehe .

That's where I got the dumping tool, but I need something for building it too, that can work from command line, so I won't have to do drag&drop.

guys i'm not able to unlock it with chevronwp7.exe
it says to control that the phone is connected and zune opened, but all is ok!! it see the phone because if i lock it it says that it is pin protected, but if i unlock it gives the usual error message. what can i do?

I'd the exact same issue looking about 2 hours and finally found a solution..

I just downloaded the windows phone developper tool (7mb then when you run the .exe it takes 380mb to download)

After the download, start installing and closing Zune before.

And during the installation, I'd try one last thing and it worked:

1. On your c:\windows\system32\drivers you'll find a file called "host" just remove the readonly (after removing the lock on your phone don't forget to put again on readonly...)

2. Launch Zune

3. Connect your phone to usb

4. Ok, now your phone is detected on Zune and if you try to run ChevronWP7 with your phone "locked (screen black)" you'll see an error message about pin code.

5. Just unlock your phone (get into the main menu) and execute again your chevronwp7cer !

6. It will add again developer host on your phone and then run chevronWP7.exe

7. If it works like me you will see chevronWP7 and just click on two boxes then unlock and done.

Hope it help someone and solve problems..

ps: didn't finish to install developper tools and it worked
ps2: I have add on my reg too the value dword32 (just look inside this thread..)

i always run out of space on wp7 hd2. anyway i can increase partition size on my 1gb sd to stop this ? it wont even let me send anymore texts because of insufficient space !? there is nothing i can delete to increase! many thanks

I have the same problem. I tried formatting my SD card, but it isn't used... Anybody has a solution for this low stoarage space on the internal memory of the HD2 with WP7?

Same here, I can't install anything else... but the strange part is on Zune he said used space 48Mo and freespace 0Mo then I tried to navigate a bit on IE, connect again on my pc and sync with zune.
After that Zune said 56.38Mo used and still 0 space left. I don't understand.. If I haven't space left I can jump from 48Mo to 56 or maybe a part of the space are assigned to IE only.

this is not true, i have used an 1gb sd card and it works fine...but the shipped 2gb card did not work for many peoples (for me, too)

Download stock 1.66 rom of your region (you can search for it in XDA) and flash it. After that, you can flash HSPL 2.08 and the radio as well. Only then you may flash MAGDLR v1.12 and lastly Windows Phone 7 ROM.

Desactivate your ethernet card, quit skype, quit chevronWP7, quit Zune then start Zune, click on your phone icone at the bottom (on Zune), then launch chevronWP7 and it's ok

For the SD, can't get my 2gb sandisk working so I've got a 8gb class2 and it works like a charm

- Download and install Download HTC Connection Setup from here
- enter into application and select your country and carrier
- apply changes, restart phone

In settings - cellular - add apn I have blank input fields but internet/data connection, mms finaly work (orange poland)

Hi!! i really REALLY need some help.my phone is stuck on the MAGLDR screen. how do i uninstall? i did every step to change over my HD2 to WP7,but the last step..installing the windows mobile DFT onto computer my computer brings up the box with the windows mobile(orange bordered one)but STOPS there and doesnt let me continue on.its just a blank box with a windows mobile logo in the corner.please help.i hope i explained it well enough for you to understand.i even watched the Youtube video.

You have to use the volume keys to move the cursor to USB Flasher, then hit the green Call button. That will allow the DFT exe file to flash WP7 onto the HD2. All of this information is in the MAGLDR thread. This is not the right place to ask this question.

Try this before you run chevronWP7: Change PC date to 01 October 2011 and Cell to 01 October 2011, then turn the airplane mode on. Then use the ChevronWP7.exe. It should work!

Which radio do you have? I am using 2.15.50.14 - Works good.
