Mod Speak: Cotulla is a very trusted developer and would most likely not release a fake video, he is 100% legit in the deving community. He brought linux and further pushed android to the HD2, along with tons of other things .

So real like Android on hd2.
Don't flash WP7 on hd2, It is illegal.

Because running official wm6.5 roms is legal while making and running wm6.5 custom roms if u arnt licensed to is illegal but the thing is that custom roms make the whole wm6.5 experience better so Microsoft doesn't say anything to us

We cannot trust Microsoft with wp7 ...... Microsoft told all of HD2 user that can't upgrade to wp7 but someone can do with this.I suggest all of HD2 user should change to use iphone or android ..We can't trust Microsoft any moore.................

Trouble with Marketplace

Hey all,

I have a problem with the WP7 Marketplace, when i go with my phone into, select an app or game and want to install it, this error message comes:

"can't get this info right now, check back in awhile"

The joke is that when i try it connected with zune, then i can klick on install, i "buy" them.

Then a pop-up comes up where i am told that the program will install shortly, but in the end absolutely nothing is installed!!

Something strange is that the Space on my phone was getting more less so the programs should been transfered by zune to the phone but why they dont get installed?

I dont know if this is the right thread to post the problem, but you would really help me if you had an idea.

It may be illegal but do I really care...not that much. I mean honestly the hd2 was originally said to get an official update from Microsoft they even went as far as putting a windows phone logo on the hd2 box not a Windows mobile logo...enough said... Plus was anything ever said about helmi_c getting wm6 on devices shipped with wm5. Like my first windows mobile phone the apache.

I just wish I could get this thing unlocked so I can use the market. I'm so tired of trying random **** to get chevron to connect.

Well... I guess HTC put the Windows Phone sticker on the box... Not Microsoft.
(As far as I remember mine does not have this kind of sticker anyway)

True it would be HTC putting it on the box with what would have to be permission from Microsoft....copyrights etc...

I have a Tmobile US version though. Does yours have the old windows mobile logo like my girls old touch pro 2?

Just posting a couple of pics to back me up.. Thats definatly a windows phone logo.

Ill still run windows phone on my hd2. Lovin it and it will only help out microsoft..market sales, people checking out the OS before they go but an official one, etc... I really dont think it would be worth M$ time to chase after people putting windows phone on a device that will be obsolete in less than a year. Either way if my hd2 would run windows phone or mobile I would still be getting a new phone. The new phone being faster, better looking, etc.

Yeah now there are two types of Window Phone; Windows Phone Classic(WM) & Windows Phone 7

Of course nobody can answer on question: "How is it dangerous" How to compare? It isn't so bad if compare with murder, but bad if compare with steeling gum from supermarket (I think all done this, doesn't it? )

WP7 HD2 Headphone jack issue?

Anyone have issues with headphone jack? If I go wired I can't make calls, also incoming go to VM never able to pick up call. Does a quick beep and dumps.

I heard BT works fine but wanted to see if anyone else has issue. In car I use slacker was nice to have phone pump through audio system so I can keep hands on the wheel without getting the BT tumor and looking like some Jimmy Nutron dickhead with a jabra on.
