wrong mic used for VOIP apps with CM10.2.1

Hi, for google hangouts, my Sprint S3 with CM10.2.1 uses the top mic instead of the bottom one. I've tried modifying the audio_policy.conf file, but that does not seem to fix things.

Has anyone fixed this?

This problem has been around for a long tine and its still not fixed... Many dont seem to recognise this is happening

Can confirm that this build.prop edit does work for the most part. It does make VOIP apps use the bottom mic, however, they will not use the top mic for echo cancellation, so whoever is on the other end will hear a significant echo of their voice.

Would very much appreciate any tips on how to solve this.
