Panorama with the stock camera won't work in the vertical orientation, only in horizontal.
Also, how to cold boot now? It's different than with 4.1.

are you able to get back into a normal OS? or are you stuck completely?
I'm still on 4.1.1 which is working fine. I'm thinking that the update was corrupt as I have not uninstalled any system apps and the last 2 updates worked without a hitch. Now I can't see the update anymore to try again so I will just wait a couple days and see if it becomes available again

Maybe a kind soul will offer the ww file. I would be able to place it for download if that is needed as I did the US file(235 downloads so far).
I'm sure there will be many others who would be happy have it.
If someone wishes to do this you can pm me the link and I'll post it for others. I can't use it as my unit is unlocked.

If I may comment.
I believe since the partitions changed when going from ICS to JB new nvfash files will be needed to avoid bricks.
I am curious about fastboot while locked and the fact that we can get the bootloader serial number with this update.

This would be a big help for me as I have the unable to unlock / update via OTA bug. Any kind enough souls to make the ww version available?

You are temporarily unrooting with rootkeeper before you start, correct? Also make sure your superuser app and binary are current.

/system/bin/gzip doesnt match.. so i need a re image of /system/bin/* anyone got any ideas

same thing as way back in september or so... busybox failed to restore properly...

i had to put in busybox to run on my 3G stick with data... sadly it wont work with out it.

soooo i can either now lose root and restore.. or find a way to patch my /system/bin/*

ps for those that dont know /cache/recovery/LAST_LOG is where i got this info from.

Busybox moves files to different locations and provides links to the actual file location.
Your file may be intact but now resides elsewhere.

I was not happy to find mthat my tablet doesn't want to wake up when I pressed power button. In order to reboot it I had to keep the button pressed for about 10 seconds. It's second time it happens since this update. Is this auto-power off a bug or feature? Help?

Just found something interesting about HDMI.
With 4.1.1 when connecting to tv, we got a croped to right and left mirrored image of the tablet screen.
We also had a seting to change it a little bit, by cropping the top and botton of the image, so the screen filled horizontally.
But when we played a movie, the hardware becoder showee it in the tv in fullscreen and with no srt subs support.

Now with 4.2.1, we get mirrored image (with the border right and left) at ANY situation.
Youtube HD playback, flash videos on web browser, movies in hardware and software decoding WITH srt subs, all of them in full screen without any performance issues!!!!

This is a good and a bad thing at the same time. I like the mirrored video with srt subs, i like fullscreen flash web videos, but.... I have to live with the side borders in the tv, or just zoom the picture with the romote control, so i crop the side borders and the botton bar.

It would be more convinient to have the mirrored image anywhare, but not in the video playback (1080p quality its useless that way)
