This would be a big help for me as I have the unable to unlock / update via OTA bug. Any kind enough souls to make the ww version available?
+1 here. I forgot I had changed my play store version months ago and it killed my ota! Can't seem to revive it, tried cm dm cache clean, no dice.

Regarding the HDMI sound output issue. Some people reported that they have no sound from the HDMI output after taking the 4.2.1 OTA. The issue is elsewhere. You cannot set the tablet volume AFTER connecting the cable , that's why some have sound and others do not. The solution is to set the tablet volume BEFORE connecting the HDMI cable. It's an awkward fix, but it'll work until Asus rolls out a new OTA.

Ja, true :D ! just updated 1 hour ago :victory: ! WW version :victory::victory::victory: . do you think it's a coincidence that the update arrived in the same day with the leather case, screen protector and stylus  ?

by the way, which launcher are you using? I like 4.1 style launcher, it's more appropriate for tablet:cowboy:

now I love my transformer even more !!

EDIT: I'm curious about the battery life. Recharing now and drain to 0. I'll report next days ;)
do you have a link to leather case, screen protector and stylus?

tks!

The full firmware download is now on most asus websites. The problem is that there is no way to maintain root doing a manual install of the asus website file, only via ota.

For those of us who are rooted, with a failed update, our only option to upgrade and maintain root (outside of unlocking), is to paste the ota download file.

The ota download file is located in /cache and is only present between downlaod and install. It is titled dlpkgfile.

If anyone on WW see's this before upgrading, many of us would appreciate it if you could make a copy of the dlpkgfile before installing.

Thanks.
