Just wondering...

if someones unlocked their bootloader and is running stock they cant get the OTA can they? so we cant even recruit one of those folks can we?
Once your bootloader is unlocked the OTA's become irrelevant. As soon as Asus releases the firmware, developers soon after produce pre-rooted stock and custom variations of firmware that you can easily flash through a custom recovery such as TWRP or CWM. When your bootloader is locked, you can't flash anything.

I usually prefer unlocked bootloaders on all of my phones. Unfortunately Asus has built an impregnable fortress around their bootloader, making it virtually impossible to unlock without using Asus' tool, and concurrently allowing them to record your voided warranty.

ya i know its irrelevant.. this is my only locked device.. im just wondering if its possible for someone to say.. load up the version before this on their unlocked tablet in order to re get the download for us..

I donload from asus web, and extrakted blob file then flased wolith fastboot. Works fine
