But i dont know enough to impliment it:
tightvnc can share single windows -> Which doesnt require a full desktop environment. so -> What about a script in the form of a shortcut that interacts with a linux background and starts it up in a minimal, memory/cpu efficient env with a minimal vnc viewer?
or any variation of the sort. The way i see it, nixing the desktop env (lxde, xfce) and sharing a window from a minimal xinit, would make linux programs a lot more useable on even phones. I know because i did a similiar with my old OG droid and had to start programs in a naked xterm (not enough ram) and they ran... splendid.
Does anyone know how to do this?
click in android script = enter chroot -> tightvnc (or xvfb) -> display=window ->launch viewer instance and set condition kill process upon close.
or am i stupid?
