Can I install vanilla over gapps version without loosing data?

Does vanilla version have core Gapps contact sync, Google Play etc?

vanilla means pure android.....no gapps

And , no u may face crashes if u do so

This is wonderful ROM and enjoying evey bit of it. Thanks to makers for all the hard work.

I noticed probably a bug that when I step away from wifi for a while and back. Neither WiFi nor data connects without manual a manual intervention.

Is this expected ?

I have just realized my installation of Spark does not have an option to set the default email app. I have Gmail, FairEmail, and Outlook, and none of them is the default email app, so other apps that want to let me send a bug report over email just say “email sending not supported”.

For the record, I expect that option to be in Settings → Apps → Default apps. I currently have there: Browser app; Caller ID & spam app; Digital assistant app; Home app; Phone app; SMS app; and Opening links.

I have problem with micophone on comunicators: Messenger, Duo, signal, etc.
Rom version is with gapps, clean install with wipe.
In voice recorder, or web pages im chrome mic works fine, problem id inly in comunicators.

Mobile Data usage aready 1 gb approx automatically per day . I don't understand why this happening, Network not stable otherwise Rom is butterly smoth..

edit: just noticed this is thread for A12 rom. sorry. but, any suggestions for improving battery backup would be appreciated.

I have flashed latest rom Spark-12.1-Official-X00TD-20220301.zip except vowifi everything working fine.

Vowifi works only for initial few minutes and later on it goes off even though the vowifi logo is seen the call does not go over wifi.

I found this ROM one of a kind, if not the best one so far, but... Yes, there is always a but. The battery just drain and drain without no apparent reason.
I'm coming from stock (pie) and with exactly the same settings and the same apps, the average battery consumption was about 1,2% per hour with a 3 days per charge. With Spark, not even a full day.

I'm going back to stock pie.

Yet, my thank you to the Spark devs for the amazing work.
