is this kernel the same as the FXP 130 kernel?

No it's the updated one. Fxp just released the fxp150 kernel for the latest cm7 rom and this is the kernel.

Kernel works great, thanks! Was wondering why I couldn't boot, and apparently it's because DoomKernel doesn't work for me with FXP150.

Also, how did you manage to get the kernel? I'm guessing it would be the kernel.sin from the zip, since that's the only somewhat related thing I can find, but is there an easy way to make that into an ftf or is it somewhat complicated?

Using flashtool you can make ftf file from kernel.sin.
I will get you link on how to do it in a while. Can't search on phone

there is "bundle creation" option in Advanced Tab of flashtool
Use that to create ftf file easily

using fxp 150 i get a lot more freezes than with fxp 130, on 150 it happens almost every single day and i have to pull out the battery to make it work again...
