X527 Dual Sim Function Problems...

I just received an X527 (via Geekbuying) last week, everything is going well with the phone, apart from the dual sim function!

Both of my sim slots work fine - I have two sims one from Three Mobile and the other from Lebara.

I can put either sim into the phone using either tray and the phone works perfectly.

If I put both sims into the phone the sims will work initially then the Three Mobile sim will lose signal/connection.
It doesn't appear to make any difference which trays are used the Three Mobile sim will always lose connection.

If I put the Three Mobile sim into another phone it works perfectly, only seems to be a problem when I use the two sims on the X527.

Something seems to be stopping the Three Mobile sim working in the dual mode.

I can turn off the Lebara sim and the Three Mobile sim will work fine.

My set up is to use Lebara for data and outgoing calls and the Three sim for incoming calls, generally speaking.

Any ideas? :cowboy:

This is what is happening with my X527 when using 2 x SIM cards.
Put the SIM card in – both are detected:

Service available on both SIM’s see both signal strength icons on top right side.

Wait a few minutes and this is what I get, no matter which way I put the SIM's in:

SIM cards swapped around - same thing 3UK signal drops after a few minutes:

I use 4g + 3g on x527 with MPSS.TA.2.1.c700008-8976...
I found a "Le 2-X526-5.9.021S-Bootloader+ Modem.zip" file in my Le2-folder so I must have flashed that (in twtp). There should be a thread about it somewhere here where I downloaded the file from. There's a "setDevice-x527.zip" file too, if the bootloader changes the name on the phone to X526 and you want to change it back to X527.

OK so I've updated to 19S now and still has the same "Mpss ta c 2.0.c18"

I've found this link to mpss ta 2.1 c7

Do I just copy the file to the phone then install via TWRP?
WOW THANK YOU.

I live in Australia and the 2G network is shut down, which made this phone useless as I use one sim for calls and one for data and need them simultaneously. But I'm using Small EUI on an X526 and I installed this over the top using TWRP and BAM, I can use both sims again in Australia, totally bought this phone back to life for me thank you!!!!!

I ended up removing TWRP and using the standard recovery and installed 5.9.021S.

How do you find the 26S rom?

My phone is running well but battery life doesn't seem so good recently.
Hard to tell because my phone is a bit ****ed up right now (the screen is smashed to **** and I'm forced to use an onscreen navbar because the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen are broken) but it seems okay... I'm thinking about moving to a more AOSP rom however because Im not really that fond of the leeco android stuff and it doesn't seem to send notifications to my smartwatch at all

Not been on here for a while!

I'm getting the same feeling with regards to battery life, it's needing charged up way more than previously.

No other issues thankfully but time for a change soon I suspect!
