I feel he is disappointed in everything about the x90 pro plus. He also says origin is the worst os. I think he should sell it and get rid of it. Looks like vivo isn't for him like apple isn't for me.

Hey, when I take a screenshot, it doesn't show the screenshot notification at the top of the screen, any idea how I can fix this? It only shows the screenshot on the bottom left corner, then disappears.

Someone who knows how to put the apk in "origin notification scenario settings" I see that when com.bbk.appstore is uninstalled it is removed from the scenarios and if you install it again it is put back. I'm sure that if someone manages to do that, they won't have problems with notifications in some apks and always on display.

Smart screen and smart rotate (auto rotate I'm assuming?) both work for me

No auto not rotate when in bed. Meaning you have auto rotate activated but if the camera detects your eyes are pointed 90 degrees to the horizon then rotate 90 degrees different. Meaning reverse rotate. It's simply not working for me. This was first introduced by Samsung 5-6 years ago. Huawei phones don't manage this either.

It's actually a core android function since android 12.0

And yeah if camera is not active smart screen works for me. It doesn't work in google translate using lens. E g. for translating subtitles in a video on another screen.

Go to apps > show system apps > find package installer app > uninstall updates, force stop, clear cache & then clear data > reboot your phone.

It should now install APKs. Let me know if it works

One key function on my current Huawei P30 pro is that I'm running company portal/intune in order to use my work email and chat (outlook/teams). Do any of you have this installed or know whether it runs flawlessly on the vivo? If I can get than running along with my Starling banking app and google pay - happy days

A user on a different thread shared 2 emails for contacting Vivo support. so, anyone who has any bugs and issues with the x90 Pro Plus, feel free to drop a message to the following email addresses. It goes without saying, be as specific as possible with your issues and provide any screenshots/proof that you can.

As quoted by the user on the other thread;

Is there any way to change the language in the themes app to English? Alternatively there has to be an English version of the themes app, possibly the one on the x80 pro global version? Any idea how to get the English themes apk? Or change the language of the current themes app?

I have Outlook, Teams, Authenticator on my phone and they work, no problems with them.

I ran the debloat (minus some edits, like the remote control app which I use). After the debloat I noticed the dialer crashes when clicking some specific contacts - it doesn't seem to happen to all of them. I ran the reverse script and rebooted my phone, but the issue still happens. Not entirely sure it's connected to the debloat but I didn't notice it before I ran it. Anyone else had this happen or found a solution?

I guess there is no way to have everything working when you run the deep debloat script. Especially when you use stock preinstalled apps. You'll have a clean phone but there is a bigger chance to run into some issues.

Hm might have to try that, I just ran the regular debloat and then the reverse script, issue still persists for some reason

Thanks for this thread. I am expecting to receive my x90PP any day now. I went through every single page and thread in this post and, to be honest, I thought I would sum up what needs to be done, and what cant be done.

What cant be done : android Auto, google assistant, google timeline

What I need to do when I get phone:
1) install the latest google playstore from Apkmirror ( latest is 34.2.14 not 33?) and Gboard
2) use the x90pro_debloat_v2.5 (I see 2.1 2.4 and 2.5. I assume same script updates)
3) here I am boot confused as to whats the main difference between debloat90 and debloatv_deep although the names speak for themselves, but what is the least risky. I presume both take care of notification issue?
4)remove vivo.pem or is it removed with either or both debloaters
5) remove the vivo wallet manually for google wallet to work? or is wallet also removed with debloat script.
6) set refresh rate with adb command to 144 or 90 etc (although not sure why if its there).
7) if using the debloat script is there a need for going to ADB app control to remove further apps?

thanks..Im just trying to make it a one stop thread for people to follow because the post imo is getting lengthy and a bit confusing, yet critical.

1. If you bought your phone from giztop or trading shanzeng, it will have Google Playstore and GBoard installed.
2. Yes, 2.5 is the latest version of the script.
3. Deep Debloat (also contains the normal scripts in it) removes more system apps, I don't recomand running the Deep script, open it with Notepad, compare the packages with the normal script, search them on the internet to undestand what you remove.
4. vivo.pem is removed with normal debload, no need to run the deep one.
5. You don't need to remove Vivo Wallet for Google Wallet to work. A vivo wallet app is removed with the normal script, but the deep one removes the system app. I forgot If I had to manually unistall it.
6. Didn't do that. Until yesterday I was using 120Hz, now I switched to 60Hz to see If I notice any difference.
7. I used ADB App Control to unistall some of the system apps that were not in the normal script but were in the deep one. With ADB App Control you can see the App Name, not just the package name, it makes it easier to understand what you are removing from the phone. Also, It will be easier to reinstall what you remove, if you realise you need it back.


8. Also, you should check the youtube video posted by trading shanzeng about Origin OS, they give some good tips & tricks on what you should / could do after you get the phone.
9. Install a different Launcher? I choose Microsoft Launcher, I like the search function more on the Microsoft Launcher then on the Nova one.
