1. If you bought your phone from giztop or trading shanzeng, it will have Google Playstore and GBoard installed.
2. Yes, 2.5 is the latest version of the script.
3. Deep Debloat (also contains the normal scripts in it) removes more system apps, I don't recomand running the Deep script, open it with Notepad, compare the packages with the normal script, search them on the internet to undestand what you remove.
4. vivo.pem is removed with normal debload, no need to run the deep one.
5. You don't need to remove Vivo Wallet for Google Wallet to work. A vivo wallet app is removed with the normal script, but the deep one removes the system app. I forgot If I had to manually unistall it.
6. Didn't do that. Until yesterday I was using 120Hz, now I switched to 60Hz to see If I notice any difference.
7. I used ADB App Control to unistall some of the system apps that were not in the normal script but were in the deep one. With ADB App Control you can see the App Name, not just the package name, it makes it easier to understand what you are removing from the phone. Also, It will be easier to reinstall what you remove, if you realise you need it back.

8. Also, you should check the youtube video posted by trading shanzeng about Origin OS, they give some good tips & tricks on what you should / could do after you get the phone.
9. Install a different Launcher? I choose Microsoft Launcher, I like the search function more on the Microsoft Launcher then on the Nova one.
amazing.

yes I watched it like 10 times. And I cant live without Nova plus. and I made a Vivo Account. Another good post is this:

lastly, does the dialer or does a chinese version of Vivo support native call recorder?

Thanks again

I haven't tried that but call recording should work since there are some settings for that.

Hm, another really weird issue for me. After running the restore script (enabling the exact same services I disabled and reinstalling the com.vivo.pem, and ofc rebooting after) my phone went into massive power drain mode. For example I went to bed with 100% charge and woke up a few hours later to about 55% while the phone was idle. It only showed "android system" as the most used app, so probably some wake lock issue. Anyway, I re-ran the regular debloat and the drain stopped.

Since I only restored the debloat because my contacts app crashes but it didn't make a difference, at least now the phone seems to be working normally. Although it would be interesting to know why the contacts behaves likes it does and it seems to work when people do the deep debloat (haven't done so yet as it seems to disable more stuff than I'm comfortable with, but might try it).

If you noticed that contacts caused problems, just remove it as well. Actually contacts is an app that if you have European contacts you likely breach the privacy rights of your contacts leaving it as you don't know what contacts actually does with it's data and being closely linked to the phone app. But then people even worse do that with WhatsApp and other Facebook apps all the time clearly breaking the rights of their contacts as surely they didn't ask anyone if they feel right they share the Data with Facebook and Co.. (only some messengers like Signal act correctly here using hash instead of telephone number, and not storing it)..

hey guys,I know it has to do with removing a line from one those in the script. I am in early days..but one issue is my audiobook player (smart audio book player) does not show on lockscreen nor when you swipe down the notifications which it should do and does on every phone I have (samsung oneplus huawei) ...I think all the permissions are set correctly ,,

I feel it has to do with the native music player or widget or something? anyone experienced such issues?is there a line to restore in there? I just noticed when I set the notifications and go out of the app, then I go back in the settings, I see its grayed out...not sure why..i have uninstalled reinstalled cleared caches etc..

if it happens on one, will probably happen with others..early days still

The next software update is coming that'll fix notifications.

One question, but removing the com.vivo.pem drastically worsen the energy management and consumption of the mobile phone? Yes, the notifications arrive on time, but all the rest of the applications that were managed live.pem always remain "active" consuming a lot of battery even when idle and with the screen off. Am I thinking wrong or is there reality?
If you set permissions fine, background activation etc but keep the vivo.pem , notifications not working properly?

anyone who used the deep debloat has fixed 120hz on dark mode even if its on auto?
also with light mode goes only to 30hz?

edit:
revert the deep_debloat and its fine but still not working using the regular debloat.

I removed some more from deep debloat and left some in. 1hz only in direct sunlight, 10hz in light rooms, 30hz in dark room. Nothing about debloat

Hello All,

Finally got mt hands on the phone. Debloated and trying to add in all my apps.

Installed Nova but noticed it would keep jumping back to default launcher? Any workaround for this?

I run the debloat v2.5 n my x90 pro plus , but , when launch it , it asks me to enter the password of the live account on the mobile phone because an external application is trying to delete a mobile app
I enter the password, it says operation performed on the cell, but on ADB it returns "[DELETE_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR]"
Upload the screenshot here

I had the same. Tried with another computer and it was fine. Not sure what's the problem.

I don't think it's the computer... I have to enter the password of my VIVO profile on my mobile phone, to proceed with the deletion of the app, but also that I enter it correctly, it is not deleted and it gives me this error

I think I was able to remove com.android.messages once - which is spyware - but it's not possible anymore. I'm not even asked for password. Same for contacts and phone. I surely had com.android.phone removed once (then reinstalled to run some ussid codes and now cannot get rid of it anymore and it likely spies on us too).

You deserve an award for the most useless posts in xda history .
The amount of posts that have nothing to do with the threads and actual discussions + based on your personal assumptions ( no proof for what you are stating ) its mindblowing .

It's clearly spyware on other BBK phones, so safe to assume the same applies to vivo. Reported you again for flaming

Seems with next update impossible to remove vivo.pem anymore as it will also show user restricted message. So anyone who hasn't removed it by then good bye notifications...
Its already the case on vivo x fold (2).

Vivo really seems to know how to make their O.S. even worse.

If this continues like this then by android 14 adb will be useless as you then can only use it to remove apps that you could remove via O.S. app manager anyhow...
    2
@allonssvp you don't need to remove com.vivo.pem or any system packages to get notifications to work

    - Allow 'high power consumption' (probably not even needed)
    - Allow the 'auto start' permission
    - Configure notifications (different apps have different defaults where some only enable sound or silent notifications with no bubbles)
    2
@allonssvp that's the same person who believes a factory reset somehow modifies the OS causing integrity issues. Personally haven't experienced a single issue with receiving notifications in all the months I've had this phone but your mileage may vary of course.

Hi, just to let you know, we are finally able to remove via adb even previously uninstallable apps thanks to hack described here - https://stackoverflow.com/a/75192739/1616437 . Basically e.g.
    adb shell service call package 131 s16 com.vivo.browser i32 0 i32 0

Well it fits perfectly into the strategy that the Chinese decide how you should use your phone and which apps work reliably, which apps are working but cumbersome and which apps will be blocked by censorship.

Because apps like WhatsApp, Instagram or especially tinder are quite common in China for people who have some connections with outside China (that's a minority, but still at least hundred million people). The great firewall, leaky banning of VPN and so where always at least as much to support Chinese software houses as they where a tool to censor people. That we cannot remove vivo.pem anymore on phones intended for Chinese market only is just a strengthening of this principle. And unlike Xiaomi for which exports due to bootloader unlock and flashable global ROM are actually a small but significant market, they aren't for vivo.
That's also why Vivo has not blocked band 20. They intend to provide a phone that is usable in the way the Chinese government seems fit only, so if your phone outright doesn't work for people who want to use apps/tools that are not intended to be used by Chinese government, you don't need to remove band 20 and annoy the hordes of Chinese tourists when they travel to Europe.

Every os update so far made adg debloat harder and less effective by blocking more and more apps to be removed. Vivo.pem is just the final and most important one for user experience. That you cannot (easily) remove the spyware tools vivo.abe and push.notifications was a kick on experienced users, that you cannot remove vivo.pem is a kick in the but of mainstream users to comply with Chinese authority app choices. Because those Chinese users that use foreign apps most also remove vivo.pem.

Should vivo decide to reinstall vivo.pem via a firmware update, eg update to origin OS 4, then it's game over.

The only strange thing is that vivo is alone with that vivo.pem app so far in BBK. Their other brands don't have it yet and you can get notifications to work for all apps without debloat.

Hi guys, I give you a new tool thanks @Pervokur help (credit inside the script)

You must decompress zip in a directory and click on debloatx90.bat file or DebloatX90v_deep.bat (delete all chinese and vivo app inside the smartphone).
Reverse.bat and ReverseX90v_deep.bat restore all Vivo app
    6
How did you manage to get rid of the remaining Chinese bloatware? Nice find with the fingerprint btw 💐
The same way the OP's script does. Here's my list of packages that I disabled. Be aware that disabling all of them might break some other things! But you can always re-enable them by replacing the first "i32 0" in the command with "i32 1".

Install unknown apps problem after deep Debloat.
i can not install any apk, , i can only install via google play.
    solve it?
Go to apps > show system apps > find package installer app > uninstall updates, force stop, clear cache & then clear data > reboot your phone.

It should now install APKs. Let me know if it works

Hey, how & where do I execute the decompressed file?

Does the phone need to be in a specific "mode" when executing the file?

First of all you need to enable developer options.

System management > About phone > Version info > keep tapping on "Software version" until it says you are now a developer.

Now, go back to system management and scroll to the bottom. You should see "developer options" now. Open it and enable "USB Debugging".

To get the .bat file to actually work, you also need to have ADB drivers installed. I'm assuming you already have those?

Does the decompressed file remove ALL Chinese bloatware?

Not all, there's a few ones remaining

If I want to remove any other bloatware, what should I type as a adb command?

The easiest way by far to do this is to get https://adbappcontrol.com/en/
It's a GUI tool to disable or remove apps via adb.

There are some apps that can be considered bloatware that won't be removed. For example there's

    com.vivo.carlauncher
    com.vivo.voicewakeup

that I tried to remove but couldn't. Perhaps if they were added to the .bat script in the same manner as the other package names, then it would work?

On the lockscreen, if you swipe left, you get a whole page of Chinese writing. What app is this & how can I remove it permanently?

Settings> Home screen, lock screen & wallpaper > Lock screen setings > Lockscreen poster > simply disable it.
