[XA1 Ultra]Can I update the Sony camera app without upgrading to Oreo?

Hi everyone, I am now on Nougat and not planning to get Oreo because there is no root yet. However, the original camera seems to have so much noise so I wonder if that is fixed on Oreo. If yes, is it possible for me to update the camera apk from Oreo?
