Is xap is sooo helpful, I was wondering, as xaps sometimes fall into a grey area could you allow SkyDrive access, allow us to place any xaps in our own space getting around the grey problem?

I'm able to install bazaar on my developer unlocked lg optimus 7 which I unlocked via mfg menu. It is able to download apps. Still waiting for it to come out from beta.

I correctly downloads the XAP's and there are no problems navigating to them in TouchXplorer but when Bazaar opens IE and it starts loading it get stuck like shown in the screenshot, until it times out.
What should I do?

Never seen this behavior, have you tried restarting your phone?

Yeah. It's never been able to install while using the latest version. Are there anything you'd want me to test I'm more than happy to help you out

1. Open Bazaar
2. Click "WinKey" (home button) - not back button.
3. Open IE, and surf to: http://127.0.0.1

Is there a webpage coming up? or same thing?

Plus, verify that you have free disk space.

And I have about 1.5 GB of free space. So I don't think it's a space issue.
Could it be something in the DFT UltraFruit ROM?

EDIT: Installing apps from dropbox with BoxFiles is working, so might be something that happens when Bazaar is downloading them to the phone. Just a thought.

Tried this on my Samsung Omnia 7, but, as reported, it doesn't support XAP installing via IE.

Anyway, Bazaar does tell me I can download a 'normal' Windows application for Bazaar, which I guess I could use to browse apps & download them and perhaps install them (or just use the MS XAP deploy tool).

But, I can't seem to find the Windows application - has it been released?

Hi,

We should release Bazaar for PC real soon.
To use Bazaar for PC you will need interop unlock only. Bazaar for PC will perform the installation on your phone (no need for MS deploy tool).

I have an HD7 and am on DeepShining 7.10.8107.79. I have been able to download and install XAPs directly from IE so it seems like the problem is with the web server.

Anyone else have this issue? Anything I can do to fix it?

For the record: Interop-unlock is not needed for "normal" managed/native hybrid interop. It (more precisely, ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES) is only needed for apps that break out of their permissions sandbox by calling high-privilege driver. For example, An app that writes the the registry or changes the USB mode needs this. An app that just reads (most of) the registry, or opens a server socket, or takes a screenshot, does not need it. TouchXperience (the Mango version) does not use ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES.

You do still need the InteropManifest file, though - apparently that is required to allow the ComBridge to work.

Hi there,

For all people that had installation issues with 0.9.5, you should download 0.9.6 to fix these issues.
0.9.6 has a new installation method (thanks to ultrashot!) that does not require webserver.

all you need is a fully unlocked device to make it work.

This Bazaar is the best homebrew marketplace for wp7!
Although it needs a design (already noticed ...but works really good, thanks!

(according to the fact that private marketplace didn't work on my phone - almost zero xap found - and DS marketplace is strictly running on DS rom - which makes my days since a while thanks to dotcompt)

as far as i know there's a third level of access permission reached by some custom roms based on DFT rom core.
