As for getting TMo WiFi Calling working on non-TMo phones, that's probably possible but will require the right package. The M8 for Windows doesn't have it, sadly.

Also, be aware that messing with install/update packages like this *might* prevent your phone from updating in the future. It's my best guess why my ATIV S was never able to install the 8.1 update (and then it died a few months later, but I'm pretty sure that was unrelated).

Still, this is a great avenue for further research.

EDIT 2: Undo edit 1, it was a pointless suggestion.

@-W_O_L_F- : I've opened ID_CAP_DEVELOPERUNLOCK_API again on 8.1 as permanently. Simply making a clone one of from 8.0 packages.
1. Catlog files are useless for additional packages. (For non-updating chain)
2. Manifest file doesn't required to be the Signed. (.DSM Files)
3. Only the "Policy" and "Registry" files required to be the Signed :D

@GoodDayToDie :
WiFi Calling : Yeah i think so, but i don't know more about it or which package is required.

Updating Phone : Yes, If we modified *ANY* existing stuff then device will prevent for updating to newer build.
But if we added *additional* stuff so they will not affect to the System or for future update. They will be stay for permanent. I'm still thinking How is it possible in secured chain :D

I've an question : OS Component doesn't check any OEM ID or key for external packages. (They only TRUST if they are signed)
So, Is there possibility to sign packages using any PC certificate ? (like, we use for some third party Driver's Installation)
I'm unfamiliar with it but i would like to know about it on Phone side.

@irshad2809 : I didn't tried using language update but tell me is it working or not.
You can verify it reading the Registry Value.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ControlSet001\Services\FCRouter]
"Start"=dword:00000002
"ObjectName"="LocalSystem"

or SYSTEM Hive.

So, It will work on "HARD RESET".
But I suggest you to wait for the Good Things. This packages are not useful right now. So wait for the next research.
Is their anyway to dismiss a update from downloading. I updated my Lumia 525 to wp8.1 update 2 but I forgot to uninstall windows insider and now its prompting me to download the update luckily I unchecked 'automatically download update' so it's showing me download the update. Is their anyway to bypass the download

Hi,

After a getting FS Access using InteropServices on Lumia, I've just made small app. That allows us to import any OEM package to Lumia Device.
So, I've Implemented Samsung Resources like "FCRouter" IDrivers/Services and much more from samsung SPH - I800 and it works like a charm. :D
But I've not got any uses of Samsung one but it would be worth for research and development with appropriate resources.
We can even Import Packages from Engineering, Developer ROM. I.e. for DISABLE_ID_CHECK, DISABLE_SIGNTEST_ENVIRONMENT and much more.

1. Placed "Windows" Folder on SD Card. (Do not Interfere with the folder. It should be like this "D:\Windows")
2. Install XAP.
3. Run Auto Patcher.

In order to apply those packages to the System, you need to make HARD RESET.
If all the result value's gets "TRUE" then make reset, otherwise don't.

You can Import any OEM Package to Lumia Device. Such as, Huawei, HTC, Samsung.
But note that, Do Not Modify any package. It will break the signature and you will brick your device.

Having a Heavy Service of Samsung will Drain your battery fast.
[Q] using this apps can I use rpc service of Samsung in Lumia phone????????
