Nope, you don't.
I don't have an xbox and can play anything I want on my wp7.

Because of the great experience I'm having with xbox live, I'm kind of thinking about purchasing an xbox 360.

Anyone thinking of buying a 360 do it do it now. The on-line gaming is on another level. Try playing cod on a ps3 then on the xbox and you will see what i mean.

Behold the magic of "Synergy" and marketing, LOL. You really can't go wrong with a current gen 360 though. I actually just replaced my old style model with a brand new 250GB slim with Kinect bundle ($319.99 at Dell a couple of weeks ago, basically I got Kinect for $20! Nice!) I own all three platforms (PS3 slim and launch Wii still going strong) but use 360 the most, by far. It just has the better game library, and somehow, some way...the fuckers got me hooked on achievements

achievements rule i do sometimes find myself acting odd in games just trying to get them more then completing the game lol, like i spent most of my time in red dead trying to shoot birds etc.
