Haven't really found a need for the XDA app. XDA in the browser works great once you change the view from "XDA 2010" to "XDA classic" down in the far bottom left of a page.

The classic looks like crap, but yes it is much faster.

Just wanted to chime in and report I'm getting FC and loss of login info as well

Same here - constant FCs with XDA app on Xoom WiFi

Have never been able to use the official XDA app for more than a few minutes before it FCs on my WiFi Xoom. Been going on since the day I opened the box almost a month ago. Apparently the FC error reports go to the bit bucket (or are being ignored). I know I've sent at least 30 or more - each time it crashes. Uninstalling - I expected it would be fixed given the level of interest in the Xoom around these parts.

The app is unusable on the Xoom. Sure am glad I didn't pay for the premium one! Once the app is fixed I would buy the premium one.

The xda premium app works great, and besides, $1.99 is the least I can give back to the community.
