Hi everybody. I'm french, so excuse my...
I bought this splendid phone and used it from 4 days now. In France 5G is perfectly working. I had problem with sending MMS, but after 2 days, problem solved by itself😳...🙂
I have a question about system sounds. Is everyone knows how to disable the battery charging sound without using silent mode? Thanks...

Warning for thoee potential vivo fold USA users.. at least in att I'm having issues with the phone I can make and receive calls but as soon as I use data to browse internet I can't make calls anymore. I tried adding a data Sim to Sim 2 but at random times I would loose cell signal. There are mixed results from users and that might have to do with where you live and if att has shut down 3g towers and volte mess in the USA.. I'm taking the phone to att and see if they can help... any other att users oithere ? FYI I also tried Google fi and had very unreliable service in places where I would otherwise get great signal

I tried on AT&T, data worked, but I couldn't make calls or text. I'm now using on Tmobile, everything is great so far (5g speeds).
Love the phone hardware, software needs work (notifications don't always work, AOD only notifys text and calls, nothing else, multitasking is lacking). Hopefully all these can be fixed with software updates, but won't hold my breath.

Can someone on ATT comment on cell signal reliability and APN setting steps to make the phone work ? I am able to get reliable 4G data however when making calls as soon as I dial the call ends… I guess the response is ATT is no go ? I would hate to return the phone. Do the T-Mobile folk have reliable service ?

Hello mates...

Anybody experienced issue with phone in pocket, it second time my phone call a lot of my contact...
I use Ocean OS lockcreen and i put TrueCaller (because Google dialer don't work properly), Message (from Google) and camera...

It seems this lock screen don't use proximity sensor or pocket mode detection... i'm alone ?

Hey guys, so I just purchased the Vivo X fold, and I'm wondering which network in the US is the best for this phone. I'm looking to either go T-mobile or AT&T (unless there is a better one) but can't seem to find which one would have better 5G/4G coverage. I'm in a big city (Houston) so coverage itself is not a problem, but trying to figure out which one has the most used bands between the two.

Hello everyone, I had the device for almost 2 weeks now. I have a problem with forcing app to stretch over front camera hole.
I have every app with "Display the front camera" option in "Setting" -> "Display and brightness" -> "Display at the top of the screen" checked.
Some apps work just fine like games, facebook or google map but some don't like Edge, chrome, microsoft apps like excel, PowerBi as below.
Anyone has a solution for this with or without rooting the phone?

Maybe these apps are not adapted with form factor… I left all in auto mode personally…
Then in major app, we have a black band on top ? It's this ?

    For those asking about alternate sms/mms apps I've only been able to get Textra to work.

    Google messages won't send mms and others apps refuse to stay as the default app.

    I have Google messages sending and receiving SMS and MMS, and no problem with the phone calls on my T-Mobile. Problem with dropped calls just went away. I use my original T-Mobile SIM which I first used on a pixel 4, and then on my Huawei XS

    I just messed around with settings and all of a sudden I did something that got everything working.

    I know this is really not much help, other to say it is possible, with a lot of persistence. I long pressed on each icon to get into settings, and just turned everything on.

    Ignorance is bliss :)

    System Version is 15.7, here's my original boot.img without patch, hope this is useful to you guys.

    And this is the 15.7 OTA package link which I intercept by wireshark.

    And is there anyone know how to connect Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 to Vivo X fold?
    Tried for a few hours, but didn't get any solution.

    You have to increase the dpi of your screen. Turn on developer mode and change the dpi to 851. It's perfect for both tablet and phone mode.

    For those experiencing occasional lag or things not running smoothly, go to settings, ram & storage space, ram, turn off the extended ram and your phone will run smoother. It's virtual memory and slow, useless on a phone that has 12gb of real ram already.

    Would appreciate a redacted list of bloatware from above, which is safe to remove. I already tried to remove some, which I was sure about - some work, some don't:

    I have found another way to delete some(not uid 1000) pre installed apks with flag "not_adbUnistall"

    adb shell service call package 134 s16 com.vivo.abe i32 0 i32 0

    134 - TRANSACTION_setSystemAppInstallState
    first 0 - state
    second 0 - user 0

    Works on Vivo A12 FunTouch

    For notifications you should delete

    com.vivo.abe
    com.vivo.pem
    com.vivo.sps

    and this also could help

    settings put global activity_manager_constants "service_max_inactivity=48000000,power_check_max_cpu_4=5"
