Xiaomi 11T Pro
Hello, I own a xiaomi 11T Pro.
Recently, I bought a 3.5 mm headphone jack to USB C adapter for my phone. It doesn't work and doesn't get detected
Is there any way to fix this scenario?
Oh and for more information the adapter shows up as a USB OTG sound card

Not all dongles are the same!

You should get one with a build in DAC. Baseus has a very good affordable dongle, other brands without a build in DAC will either misbehave or have very poor sound on the XIAOMI 11T/Pro.

It's USBC to 3.5mm by the way not 3.5mm to USBC. the data source is where you start. So is your dongle is a 3.5mm to USBC it's meant to receive audio on the 3.5mm jack not the other way around.

I have an Apple USBC to 3.5mm, it has no build in DAC. Works perfectly fine on my old OnePlus 5T but not so well on the Xiaomi. The audio output is very poor.

Long Story short,
You need a USBC to 3.5mm with a DAC (Digital Audio Codec) Baseus has a good affordable one.

Good luck!

I am using an apple adapter, to get it to work I plug in the adapter, then slowly plug in the 3.5mm headphones (at first not not all the way but ~0.25mm short of fully in). After multiple attempts it then detects my Beats headphones
