I was on Google June security patch with 13.0.18 after Playstoreupdate 31.1.14 it went back to May. Updated to June again but phone restarted itself and downgraded the Playstoreupdate. Anybody else with same problem?
update after third attempt both updates stay.

Guess a problem with with the Google Play-systemupdate.
Here I have the 1st of June for the Google Play-systemupdate after flashing the rom update 13.0.18 few weeks ago.

Unlikely - just download the full update and flash it in TWRP... then install TWRP before restarting

I'm not an expert with this but I believe it flashes to the partition you aren't currently using, but when you reboot it will switch to that partition... you would need to flash it twice to have both partitions on the same ROM, but I don't think its necessary

You can flashing without twrp by simply go to settings/about phone/left block Miui Version and tap 4x the Miui 13 logo. (first copy downloaded rom zip to device sd-card)
Then go to 3-dots right top and choose "Choose Upgrade Package) and choose the download file in the folder where you copied it to.
Then start the upgrade and done, even with an unlocked and rooted phone it worked flawlees.

Now Android Security Patch level is 2022-07-01

Oh and when you not see the 3 dot's in the left offering to choose a file you need to reset that app:
Go to settings/app/manage apps/search for dynamic system updates, clear all app data and clear cache. Now you have the opportunity back in the 3 dots right corner to choose the update backage in the updater

August is over and we even did not get a security update for August for Xiaomi's top device in the EU.
Must be a reason for it and the only one I can imagine is that since there is a (Global) version of Android 13 released as Beta for testing for the Global devices it could be that they skip the August security update and just come with the update to Android 13 later on this month.
Just my guessing (pure speculation) but it wouldn't surprise me.

Security date is 1st of September but no Android 13 yet.

Mmm, still waiting for the security update for October although some 11 models already received the November update.
Still strange how Xiaomi is treating their worldwide top model regarding updates.

Performed the update without any problem.
Rooted again without a hiccup so now waiting for the Android 13 update.
Android 13 is yesterday officially released for the Chinese version.

And again an update for the 12 Pro Global EEA but with the same security update date as the one before that is 1st of October.
Can't find any reason why Xiaomi already brought other quite older devices the November update.

The October 1 update should already appear as OTA.
