I've just done a fresh install of 10.3.8.0 after flashing the 10.3.8.0 vendor from https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zGc3v1ahsN2dpkPppNAJJMDHKl8jnQmj.

Everything worked fine, but after rebooting into OrangeFox TWRP and flashing Magisk 19.4, the phone hangs at the boot splash. Is 19.4 not compatible with this version of .eu?

Edit: Same thing with Magisk 19.3. Maybe I'll try another version of TWRP.
Edit 2: Same thing with official TWRP.

I never had this issue with the beta .eu builds for the F1. I think I'll switch to an AOSP ROM.
Had the same issue.
Flashed custom kernel, then magisk, problem solved.

Can you please advise which kernel?

I've just flashed MIUI v11 and Magisk v20. I'm still experiencing hanging at the boot splash.

I tried installing .eu, booting, and then flashing DFE and Magisk, but it still hangs. I don't have this issue with my Mi8 Lite.

I just tried Optimus Drunk. Same issue. Have you tried it with MIUI 11?
Ok. So there's probably a script that's interfering with the initial boot process. I believe all custom script files that activate on boot are in the adb folder. Might be a remnant from previous kernel/ROM installs. They can be hard to remove without doing a data wipe. Load into the folder and delete the script files ( .sh extension). Reboot into recovery. Wipe cache, dalvik and system. Then flash rom. You can flash magisk after but it might be a good idea to go through boot sequence without magisk first and then come back and flash magisk. Just my two cents btw. Not an expert

No.
Some say Pendulum works with Miui 11
Pendulum has been discontinued.

I'll try removing scripts in the ADB folder, and I'll also try Magisk 18.1, which some people say works, and I'll report back.

Neither of these strategies worked. I'm going to create a bug thread in the xiaomi.eu forum.
