I'm running the global release. What I've noticed is that some apps and settings that stopped working before the update now work again. Very happy.

Thanks for the reply but how can i do this?
When i try to Update with the global stable via the updater it gives me a failure Message that it's Not possible to flash over global Beta. Do i have to use the Mi flash Tool?
Thank you

So, after using the phone for 15+ days with this latest Pie stable update, the only thing that is annoying is auto brightness control. It goes too dark while indoors and using the keyboard as hand covers the sensor for a bit. I like keeping it auto for getting it adjust automatically when going outdoors. But this little thing is a bit annoying. I've already sent this issue to MIUI team via Feedback feature in settings and hope they do something about it.

How you guys have found this update so far?

Im looking into the brightness Issue right now. Not sure if it's a faulty config for the Brightness Values or something different. That Problem is present with all Color Profiles right? Also with Paper / Read Mode?

Thanks for quick reply and looking into it.

I haven't played much with color profiles. Yes reading mode is set to automatically on after sunset, and turn off during the day.

The problem occurs at both times, during day when I'm indoors, and during night too. Mostly I notice it during day as there more light around and when display automatically reduces brightness, then its really hard to read. Then I'll set brightness again to higher value from notification shade, or disable auto brightness.

If there are some test conditions you'd like me to test, let me know.

Best regards.

What i just checked right now, all Display Settings are causing the Display to go to almost lowest Brightness right? Non-Auto Brightness works. What happend to the Display Timeout Setting btw.? Can't find the Option anymore, Energy Savers are also not causing this like it seems... I will take a look on the Auto Brightness Values and try to compare them with Dumps from other MIUI Versions and Devices... Maybe do i find something strange...

Yes, it goes to almost lowest brightness in all possible display settings when auto brightness is on.

Display Timeout can be found under Lockscreen & password section.

Found it but thats not the right Place in my Opinion. lol

Another strange Thing. I can locate the Brightness Configs on the Mix 2S but the Folder is missing on the Mix 2. Think it needs more research but think the MIUI Devs wouldn't be faster if it's something stupid...

Yes, display sleep settings is in odd section.

Hmm, strange. Let's see if MIUI devs can look into this. If you can, submit a issue on their Feedback app regarding this, so there's more chance devs get the chance look at it.
