What is EEA? Is that the same as CN, what I see in some webshops?

Some webshops show CN but specifically mention its english and chinese. What is the difference between a CN version in english and the global version? Why would I pick one over the other?

EEA is europan version, CN version don't have google services meaning no play store, gmail and so on. CN version tends to be cheaper, you can install global version but lose some functionality.

the link you mention above is cn version, you can install global or eea on cn version using miflash without unlock bootloader.

Hi! I am planning to purchase Mi Pad 5 Global version and I will convert it to EU ROM instead just to gain a root access as discussed here.

Regarding bootloader, do we have to wait til 7 days as usual to have it unlocked?

I see your tutorial mentions Pad 5 Global ROM. What if I buy this tablet in Europe? Should I use Pad 5 European ROM?
