I do but nothing change in Netflix app always L3 ...

Exactly my point.
So I am not sure but I think this is the case:

1. Our Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has been granted a sort of Fingerprint-code, which should in theory tell the Netflix app to accept our device as Certified for DRM Widevine L1.

2. During startup of the Netflix app on our phone, there is some sort of verification happening with the Netflix server.

3. Apperently the app decides that our L1 Fingerprint is not valid for some reason.

4a. So our L1 finger print meight be faulty (unlikely IMO).

4b. The handshake with the Netflix server is faulty, perhaps due to an old stored fingerprint which is stored on the Netflix verification server.

The goal is to get the problem fixed so we can enjoy Netflix in HD quality. Again, I am just speculating, but....

If anyone really knows what is actually happening, then I would like to ask you to elaborate about it, so I can address XIAOMI and / or NETFLIX about it.

Thanks for your input [emoji3]

This is the important / relevant part of the link:

On Jul 24, 2019, Alvin Tse, who is global head of PocoPhone, responded to a user who asked him why he is still not able to watch Netflix videos in HD at his Poco F1 :

We have mentioned this quite a few times in the past. Even though the team came up with the technical workaround, Netflix didn’t budge in their policy of not certifying phones that have already launched in market. Not much we can further do at this point.

So basically, Netflix has issues with devices which received certification after getting launched in the market. Poco F1 was not Widevine L1 certified at the time of its launch and received the certification a few months later after getting launched. Netflix is very stiff with their policies and hence haven’t yet agreed to add Poco F1 to their list of supported smartphones for HD streaming. That is why Poco F1 users are still stuck with watching videos at 480p resolution instead of full high definition even after having the certification.

I finally managed to get Netflix in HD on my Pocophone F1. You can get it also, just follow these simple steps.

1. Start with a fresh install of any (stable EU) ROM.

2. In Magisk in modules, click the plus-icon, and flash the zip file called "Coral-10-Feb_CTS SafetyNet ARCore.zip" (see attachment). After flashing this zip, your Pocophone now imposes as another phone, in this case a Google Pixel 4 XL.

3. If the app "DRM info" shows that your "new" phone still has the Widevine L1 certification, you are *almost* done...

4. Reboot.

5a. Make sure to clear the app data and cache of the Netflix app.

5b. Completely uninstalling Netflix, and then installing it from the playstore again works just as fine as step 5a.

6. In Magisk hide, scroll down and check the radio button of the Netflix app (see the picture). You do not have to check anything else (like the "Google Play-services", because that's done automatically by entering the Magisk Hide menu).

That's it, you now have HD in Netflix!

So in short, if you can get your ROM setting to show that it's some device other than poco (like Pixel 4 xl), then you should have hdr support regardless of the playstore status.
Just *flash* the module from within Magisk (not from TWRP), reboot, clear the Netflix app data and cache and you should be good to go.

In some ROMs, it breaks miui camera app and you have to disable and reboot device to be able to use camera again or just use any custom gcam.

I formatted my phone and started with a clean install and I did not experience this problem [emoji4]. Have fun! View attachment 4967409IMG_20200309_121210.jpg

Send from my Pocophone F1, with an altered fingerprint (of Pixel 4 XL), so I can finally watch Netflix in HD :)
