Hi guys.
My Poco f1 got updated overnight to 9.4.18 and messed up everything.
Now even after clean install via trwp I am unable to root. Everything else works fine.
However if I flash magisk and boot to system, the phone boots to system and then in 3 seconds again boots to twrp.
I need to restore my data via migrate app
Please help
What could be the problem??

Hello I've got a problem. I've unlocked bootloader and next I'm booting correctly to TWRP, but when I try to flash any zip of magisk manager I receive an error: "invalid zip file format". I'm using TWRP 3.2.3-0 from OP's link. What should I do?

FOR OTA UPDATES:
- Uninstall magisk with Magisk Manager App (Restore Image option)
- Apply OTA update
then:

Method I:
- Boot into twrp (version with working decryption)
- Flash Magisk ZIP again
Hi all, when I have official TWRP and rooted w/ Magisk on MIUI, applying OTA as of now is this simple ?
Can the TWRP install the OTA itself then flash magisk after ?

Please enlighten me :)
Thank you!

You have the OTA update? Because on my poco i don't have the notification update. I uninstalled magisk and then my poco reboot into fastboot mode only, so i dirty flash the full fastboot rom with miflash tool and then flashed magisk again.

Hi,
Thank you for this very good tutorial ! I have a question, i rooted my phone and now it asks me for an update, i go in magisk and select restore image it tells that it is successful but when i reboot i'm stuck in a bootloop and from this i need to re-install magisks to be able to launch my phone.
I would like to point out that I have not permanently installed TWRP.
Thank you in advance for your help !

My phone doesn't stay in bootloader mode after connecting it to pc it shows click any button to shut down after connecting plz help
Are you using a Ryzen PC? If yes, you need to change to something else. Does your PC only have USB3 ports? If yes, you need to connect through a USB2 hub.
A google/xda search would have helped. I know because this is not the first time I've answered this.

Hello! I'm unable to boot into TWRP. Console says it's fine/completed, so I unplug phone and press volume up and power, but it boots into mi-recovery instead of TWRP.

Is there any way to unlock bootloader without losing data?
I know it was not possible but still asking if anybody found any trick?
No. There is no trick. Plus, it's not about a workaround, but it's about data security. The system wipes data since unlocking the bootloader makes your device more prone to hackers. It's a safety measure, and in many regions, wiping data is mandatory so as to unlock (data prevention laws).

Forgive me if this was already asked, but is this root method applicable to Poco F1 with MIUI 11.0.4.0? Thank you in advance.
Yes, I'm on 11.0.4 QEJMIXM and this works nice.
You however need to always use the latest Magisk zip as using an older one on 11.0.4 doesn't work anymore. I'm using v20.3.
As for which TWRP, I'm still using an old twrp-3.3.0-0-beryllium.img
