Reboot your phone, if your phone is unlocked you should see ,,unlocked" text under yellow pocophone logo.

Status from dev options is bugged and somethimes just not synchronised with the real status.

I am wondering about issues that I might face if I proceed with rooting global stable miui 10 like perform ance, lags, battery drain, FCs, random reboots, heat emission. I need to know these issues in order to decide whether it worth it or not.

Thank you for your support.

Why would any of this issue appear with root? Rooting your device only gives possible use of "Admin privilege" to the apps you want to use root.
If you root your device but do not do anything else, nothing will change.
But e.g. if you want to backup all your apps + data including system apps, you now have the rights to access the required folders on your phone.
That's pretty much it!

I am following this thread and will apply it tomorrow morning
I am wondering if for any reason a magisk module caused a bootloop or a magisk update
Is there an unistaller zip file to be flashed with the same process to get back to system and bybass the bootloop

Also saw earlier in the poco consolidated thread that there are some magisk versions that are not stable with our poco
I mean shall i flash the latest 17.3 or an earlier version ?

Are you running a custom rom? Having the sd card formated to exFat can cause bootloops. Format as fat32 or ntfs or flash sphinx kernel. But yeah, there is a zip file to uninstall magisk. Don't know if any of that helps you? Can't provide a link at the mo for the zip, sorry.. Gotta go!

Your system will revert back to mi recovery if you don't flash Disable Encryption zip.
This is an tutorial for stock recovery and the goal is to keep it.

For me it works good, you need to open it using WinRar or something, there is an img file inside.
Let me repack it for you.

Thanks alot. However I got mi recovery rom after I flashed it back stock rom
All I have to do now is relock the bootloader and regain the warranty right?
Do I still have to wait 60 hours if I unlock bootloader again after relock?

You got it with stock rom because you have not flashed disable encryption ZIP.
MIUI reverts to stock recovery automaticaly with encryption.

That's our goal, to keep it stock.

Relocking bootloader is necessary and even not right if you have your device rooted. You should keep it unlocked due to root access.

I don't think that you need to relock it to regain the warranty, because unlocking your xiaomi device etc. is not voiding it.

I am not sure about unlocking cooldown, but I know it appears when you want to unlock a device with a new miui account connected short time before it.
Maybe you don't need to wait again.

When I uninstall magisk, the phone boots to fastboot. I can only get it running again when installing magisk again. Could this be caused by debloating?
Flash magisk boot image again to boot your phone > open magisk manager app > click uninstall magisk > click restore image [not finish(...)] > apply OTA.
