Hello everybody,
my Xiaomi redmi 3 pro started acting weird last two weeks (unexpected rebooting, especially when outside in cold weather) and yesterday, when I checked it after charging for whole night, it did not charge and so I moved it to another charger and it rebooted, showed me 0% battery in upper bar. So I opened the back cover and checked the battery ( I replaced battery 4-5 months ago) and when I tried to remove battery flex cable from mainboard, part of it stayed at the mainboard and looked like it was previously melted and stuck there so I tried to get it out with the needle but the plastic was falling apart and could not be removed. And now I am not able to connect the battery and when I try to turn the phone on, it shows only mi logo and then turn off and I can hear some quiet noise from the board after turning it on. Is it necessary to have battery connected in order to turn it on, or do you think it is dead? And is there any way to recover data from it without the battery? Here are some pictures of the connector.
