the bat file just get closed as soon as i open it.

ADB and FASTBOOT are working on my pc as i can see the device connected and i have enabled usb debug on Mi3 itself than whats the issue

where can i find update? i downloaded the windows package again but still didn't worked

EDIT: it seems some issue with my device it is no longer being detected by adb

xiaomi tool for mi3 not working on windows

i have downloaded file for windows and extract it.

but,

1.Download the Zip file
2. Extract the folder on your and rename it as XiaomiTool
3. Make sure ADB and Fastboot are working well on your device and they're both on a %PATH% (C:WindowsSystem32 for example) folder
4. Run Start.bat and enjoy

step 3 and 4 are new for it.

for step 3 - you need rooted mi3 ??

there is no exe file in tool and so how to run it on windows laptop ??

Where's the problem?
No need of rooted mi3, u just need ad and fastboot on your PC placed on a %PATH% folder
U have to run the bat file, it's like an exe but u it's not "compiled" but it works anyway

A %PATH% folder is (as I wrote) C:\windows\system32

Now u know it doesn't work. He only thing that this tool do is forcing art cuz aosp sources support it. Then if xiaomi fw and apps don't support it it's another thing.

Did u flash cwm? Do you have miui stable or any other ROM?

tried with two options :
1. Use stock recovery
2. Use cwm 6.0.5.0

both result the same error as described earlier..

nevermind, after flash cwm, i just installed supersu from market, now got root access..
