Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Xiaoxin Pad Plus (TB-J607F).
When I bought it in a China store, it had a pseudo Global Rom on it. I then flashed the China Rom and everything worked fine. Also got some OTA update.

Then I got the stupid idea to try another Rom (P11 5G via LMSA) and now I can't get back to the China Rom. I guess something is preventing a downgrade because I did the OTA update.
As I remember it was the ZUI 13.1.???.
But I only have this ROM :TB-J607F_CN_WIFI_USER_Q00010.0_R_ZUI_12.6.142_ST_210801_qpst-001.7z

I would very much like to go back to the China ROM and maybe there is a way.

Thanks for your help.

You must unlock bootloader to flash back to China ROM as Global ROM is much more newer than China ROM. If you want to relock, you need to wait Lenovo release ZUI14 on September.

thanks for your reply.

yes indeed, the bootloader is locked.
I need an unlock file which I can only get from Lenovo. ( please correct me if i am wrong)
I requested this from Lenovo a few days ago but so far no response.

https://www.zui.com/iunlock
I may have to be patient.

In fact if you are in Global ROM now, you don't need to request for unlock file. Just enable oem unlock in Developer Settings, reboot to bootloader and run
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock
Only Chinese Firmware need unlock file.

Thanks for the explanation

I still have a few questions.

1. can I lock the bootloader again after the China Rom flashed and downloaded the OTA update?
2. with which command I lock the bootloader again?

Thanks in advance

In principle, you can also use the How TO from Tropaion.

I installed the J607Z rom in my J607F (the one with 5G), it came with the "global" rom, then i installed this one that's a bit better but i want the rom with zui that seens to have more functions (mainly for external display that i need). Can i go with this tutorial to install the chinese rom? I didn't changed bootloader settings to install the one i'm using, also does the chinese rom have other languages other than chinese?
thanks :)

The ZUI-ROM has besides chinese also english.

The important thing is that the ROM is newer than what you have at the moment. The latest is ZUI 14, only then you can flash the ROM when the bootloader is locked. Otherwise you have to unlock the bootloader.

thanks for the answer. i downloaded the chinese rom, if it takes to long for de zui 14 download link to be released then i'll consider to unlock the bootloader.
