hello there...
i has been use mango for 2 years, and i have a fewe question.

1. i'm using cm-10-20130318-NIGHTLY and now comes the update, but how i can update to latest weekly build? is it possible if i update without wipe or clean all apps that i previously installed?

2. did the cm10 hasn't have a ring and vibrate feature? i already tick the vib&ring option but it doesn't vibrate when the notiffication comes

3. cm-10-20130318-NIGHTLY has all the bug fixes than cm10.1 bluetooth is working, radio and wifi too. but it was an android 4.1.2, i wanna ask isthere any android 4.2.2 rom's that has wifi, bluetooth and radio working like cm10?? i like the two-finger-slide in notification bar :laugh:

Well first you can update from settings about phone cm update
Second thing is u can't keep ur old apps but u can back up ur app and data with titanium back up or latest version of es file explorer and easily restore,
And third there is a cm10.1 with working WiFi and Bluetooth, but only radio doesn't work,

Just download es file explorer from play store
It's a very nice file explorer with lots of features, it can back up apk and data, or downfield titanium backup

battery question

hello .. i want first of alla to say thank you for the thread it helped me a lot .. anyway i want to ask someting about my phone ..
i have the xperia mini st15i and the phone (at this time i want to say tha my friend faces the same thing) consume a lot of battery by being idle ..
for example it can consume about 10% of battery at night .. what can i do to help my phone not consume a lot of battery whet it is idle ???? i want to know if there is a solution without the " known " solutions like close the wi-fi , the bluetooth , or the brightness of the screen etc ....

Could be the problem of kernel?
Maybe there's a wakelock?
If ur bootloader is unlocked try changing the kernel

[Q] Should i rename the downloaded kernel file to "boot.img" to start flashing?

Hello

I'm new to xda, this is my first post. Any mistakes please correct me. My phone: SE LWW[ICS] unlocked officially & flashed custom kernel

recently i have flashed rage kernel v3.2 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398910.

Today i wanted to flash this "MESA Hybrid v4.4" kernel. The downloaded file was not "boot.img" but something "lww_mesa_v4.4.img", so my question is should i RENAME the downloaded file to "boot.img" to flash? or Can i flash it directly without modifying its file name?

I had searched for it but no use. so posting here...

I'm using JellyVanilla 5.3 and already tried any kernel or downgrade or any rom on gb ics and jb but the problem persist
External charge work and media transfer work too but when it comes to charging my phone got error and not work properly
But when I disconnect the usb my phone back to normal
And I tried any help like rempve battery or clean the usb port or anything else I forgot
So please need your help and any help because I want to use my phone normallylike I used

this looks like HW damage, bcuz like u say if u flashed a stock ICS ftf. using flashtool all should work proper.
maybe one required conector is broken, if u experienced enogh u can open device (look for instuction in google there is many with pic and what to do in steps) then look on the usb port where its connected to chip and if looks not normal (smoked, broken, etc..) so u dont have to pay...

X-parts CVM and ROM flashing

Hi,

New to XDA, I wish to try Iced Bean rom.
I rooted my ray (BL locked), installed CWM via x-parts, then I read that if I flash a ROM the recovery will be gone. What is the solution here to have CVM and the recovery available after flashing ?

Phone Stock OS gone wrong, need help

My Mom's Phone's OS went wrong.. My lil bro was trying tweaks he doesnt understand on it... I need to reset it back to stock. I have been doing this for my own Sola, all i needed to know is that whether the procedure is the same for Ray as well?
i.e. Just flash the stock FTF?
If not, what needs to be done? I want to return the device back to 4.0.4 stock OS, SIM unlocked.
