I downgraded my XOLO Tegra Note 7 (P1640 - Wifi) from Lollipop to Kitkat using Supertool 2.7

You can get the Tutorials and supertool from Rootjunky's website. There are seperate tutorials for seperate tasks.

Steps I followed
1. Install drivers
2. Run Supertool
3. Unlock bootloader
4. Install TWRP recovery (May not be mandatory, not sure)
5. Restore to kitkat (option while running supertool)
6. Done

Note: You can restore to kitkat without rooting

To root, use the corresponding option in supertool and follow the steps in tutorial videos.

Please correct me if I am wrong anywhere

Thanks a lot to Rootjunky.

Warnings
1. Warranty will be void
2. If you dont follow the steps accordingly, you may brick your device

Hey have anyone tried the custom kernel on tn7 p1640 on lolipop
Not yet, as the battery backup will be lesser than the stock kernel due to overclocked CPU / Graphics.

How do we downgrade to jelly bean 4.3 or 4.2.2 from lollipop in our xolo play tegra note
Maybe Unlock Bootloader , then flash with the required stock rom (after placing it in memory card).

Not sure.

So, what were your findings in 4.2.2? Better everything?
Well almost yeah its better at every thing

Pros)

1)Awesome battery backup
2)More free ram
3)No heating issue
4)Xposed works
5)super stable

Cons)

1)No expanded Desktop mode
2)Camera sucks!
3)No custom kernel
4)marginal performance downgrade (that's y no heating issue)

we'll i have been been in this os for quite some time and let me say this it doset look that good as lp but is very stable with few or neglectable issues.I have even used it to boot kali 2016.2 and run metasploit and many hacks!...performance is Still gr8.Tegraoverclock doest not show the 120 fps thing even in 4.2.2..I wanted to test that...Is a Good change
