I was running the Australian Telstra ICS update having major issues with the WI-FI & 3g settings I tried this method and used it to flash back and start from scratch and it works perfectly then updated to ICS to the retail EU version with no problems at all....great thread

if it is going to get the update by itself, i dont mind waiting a little further..
but if it isd some kind of bug, and the only way to get the update is this proceedure, then i would like to try it..

Followed all the steps and OTA update back to ICS not working.. get message software is up to date. Now stuck with Honeycomb. Been hunting everywhere for a ICS or JB ROM to manually flash my Aus Xoom 2. Any suggestions to get a ROM or make OTA update work would be appreciated. Cheers.

stuck in RSD

RSD gets my phone and everything, but when i click start it gets stuck at 2/10, says "Flash boot "boot_signed" -> Phone returned fail" so the result is FAIL... Any idea why?

Now it`s bricked and won`t even start. I think i`m gonna need a brazilian retail honeycomb boot :/

I tested it but didn't work, what i read is that the fastboot is locked to an specific fw, as far as i know is something like 1.272.18.mz616.americamovil.en.BR

Don't think so.. on my mz607 i flashed: EU, FR, NONEFIGS and even the mz608 en.EU worked quite well !

You've Latam XOOM 2 and you can't flash other fastboot except those for LATAM.

I tried the ones you posted, but the RSD was stuck in step 1/10... now the tablet shows the brick screen and won't even charge... Are there any hopes for me?

This How-To won't work anymore as it seems motorola stopped ics ota notification for that build number. Try flashing to ICS directly using MZ616 ICS flash file from kent's developer page!
