I think the "ME" is represent Middle East not media edition.

For everybody who doesn´t already know:

MZ607 = Xoom 2 Media Edition (8,2") Wifi only
MZ608 = Xoom 2 Media Edition (8,2") with 3G
MZ615 = Xoom 2 (10,1") Wifi only
MZ616 = Xoom 2 (10,1") with 3G

Battery life is promising, the all experience is great I feel I just a new tablet.
By the way they removed all xoom 2 wallpaper left us with the ICS offical wallpaper.

Ics rolled out with my carrier 2 weeks ago in Australia... Surprised you are only getting it now since it was released in europe first...

I checked mine manually. Waiting for the notification to appear can take time since the device will inly check for updates when booted or at certain intervals and to my knowledge thats once per day.
