I have a Motorola Xyboard 10.1 WiFi model, currently on 13.5.3.MZ615.Retail.en.US which is Honeycomb 3.2.2
I have been seeing posts about stock ICS updates for these, but it seems this excludes US models (or at least excludes mine) as it says there are no updates available via both OTA and the Motorola Device Manager on my PC.
I have had the leaked ICS update for a while, but have been hesitant to flash it as there are no fastboot files available for WiFi models, just the 4G.
I just did a system dump of my tablet and saved it to a folder on my PC, is there a way to use that to make a backup? or create fastboot files from it so I have means to recover the device if the flash goes bad? I have tried leaked ICS builds on my Droid 3 and some of those went horribly wrong and it was necessary to flash back to stock, so I would like to have the means to recover it.
Otherwise, I may just go buy an off-brand tablet that shipped with ICS for $100. Honestly not all that impressed with my Xyboard, I think the design is severely flawed and the lack of support/updates is pretty ridiculous.
