Xoom not compatible with ftp???

I dont know what it is, but every ftp software on xoom I have tried does not work when I try copying files. I can definitely pull the device up and view the file system on my pc... " ftp 192.168.2.8:2121 " ...... But I get the error

"An error occurred opening the folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to access this folder.

Details:
550 Invalid name or chroot violation"

Anyone else suffer from this plague?

Use app FTPServer its free and works fine
