Broken button?
I'm using the original Xoom and trying to get it unlocked. When I run the "fastboot oem unlock." The screen changes on the tablet and I get the agreement. I can make my cancel or I accept selection but when I press Vol Up to confirm, it does nothing on either option. Now I have a tablet that's stuck. I've tried every key combination to shut it off, but to no effect.
Any suggestions?
It sounds to me like your Volume Up button is broken. If I remember correctly, you scroll through the options with the down button,and agree with the up? Also, rebooting with the buttons combination is Vol Up +Power.
Was the volume up button working before you tried to unlock?
If this is the case, then the only solution I can think of is to let the battery drain. Not pretty I know, but at least (assuming the agreement wasn't accepted) you will be able to boot back into android as was...and if you are still in waranty (unlikely I know, Moto should fix your hardware)
I sincerely hope I am wrong, and you find a better solution.
