Did the original samsung galaxy tab ever receive any updates??? i heard it never got any?

Think i'll stick with my Xoom

Yea...its something you said that because I was on engadget today and it is releasing gingerbread today to all samsung galaxy tabs overseas.... I think the U.S. customers has wait on carriers before they get it though.

I use HDMI out a lot. It's very easy to load a movie and watch it on my tv or the Xoom.

What steps are you taking to load movies??

Handbrake on 264 with normal setting. There's a link to Xoom output here somewhere that you can use as a preset.
