Ok. Here is a flashable zip for a battery mod. It has all of the images for a 1% battery incriment, when I figure that out I will post how to do that. Make sure you have made a backup with version 9 Safestrap and created a rom slot. You will have to reboot into the stock rom , open Safestrap and uninstall recovery. Now install Safestrap 10 or 13 and overwrite existing app. Open it and install recovery. Reboot and go into recovery. You should be able to select the rom slot that was made and see a restore file. Restore your backup here. You can then install the zip file. I found this great tool that lets you make these files, and pakage them in a flash file. If you use this tool you will have to edit the folder names. Here is the link, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1918500.

Make sure you place the zip in the download folder prior to rebooting. Otherwise you may have a hard time finding it.
The flash also has an edit for the lock button, but it is not working yet. I will post more as I get them. Enjoy!
Thanks! Will let you know how it goes!

In the batterymod.zip are only png's, no services.jar

For users with xoom2 32gb and external sdcard is version 13 better. The external sdcard has the correct file size (on version10 only 1,97gb)

Yes..newby here..I flashed the 'battery mod' zip without success..no battery indicator changes..BUT..after bootup..I have a different WiFi indicator in the status bar..now its a yellow circle with red arrows that flicker to green inside the red..When the tablet was doing boot up..a dialog box was up, before completing boot, that stated something like >> Android is upgrading<< is this upgrading where the yellow WiFi indicator came from..or was it the battery mod zip that changed the WiFi indicator.? Hummm..

The zip has a battery mod, wifi, and data signal mod. I don't know why the battery mod did not work, I am still trying to figure all of this out myself. . You ge the Android is Upgrading message any time the Davlik cache is wiped. The flash has this configured into it.

Without a changed xml oder changed services.jar the batterymod doesn't work. In the batterymod.zip only other png's. flash this batterymod.zip brings only changed battery icons, but no 1% battery.

Mike, you should post a thread for this stuff in the app and theme section. Then when you do email me at my username at gmail dot com and I'll tell you how do get the 1-100% working and I'll show you some wicked charging animation.

Thanks! I forgot about that since I did a while back. I will add to it. I am going to see if I can start a new thread. I will post a link to it once it is ready.

Well..maybe..but..atleast the Dev's have us to where we can create ROMSlots, backups and recoveries..I'm personally thankful for that much.!

I know nothing about all the scripting and so on that it takes..but..one thing foe sure, its back breaking work that the Dev's do..and for what.? just to move on to the next..with very little reward compared to effort..

Seems as thow we users sure demand alot..for little in return..add me first on that list..

If I could..would hire Dev's to work on projects..but..

When you are the sole developer for safestrap and true aosp ROMs for about the last four sets of Motorola devices and when I say sets I mean ever razr and the last two or three sets of droid branded phones (droid2 droid3 and droid4 and all there variants ) and a major OS drops, things take priority. Hash is a hell of a developer and I know he has a HELL of a full plate with SO many devices.
So adding another set of devices ( about 7 different xoom2/xyboards ( when it comes to recoveries they r close enough to be the same but when it comes to custom ROMs the are too different to develope on without having either a open source for device or actually having the device(s) in hand)
So if this has been placed on the back burner its not like its the end of it.
Also I want to restate without having these devices a ROM is out of the question. So with what is currently out there. This or my recovery will work for flashing mods and tweeking your stock ROM.

I totally agree and am not trying to give Hash an hard time at all.

I am more disappointed in myself for buying a tablet that about 4 other people bought and that is so hard to develop for.

I have a GenNex, which as you know is a totally different story. Wish I had a Nexus 7.

Anyway, everyone involved has done a great job getting us this far, and I certainly appreciate it! Developers here give away work for free for which they could get paid in the corporate world. Anything they find time for is greatly appreciated!

I remember me, going another way;)
Here the steps to create romslot:

-install Safestrap V9 http://db.tt/uWDXfijz
-open Safestrap V9 and install Recovery, reboot into Recovery
-make Backup of StockICS
-Reboot on StockICS
-open Safestrap V9, uninstall Recovery, uninstall Safestrap V9
-install Safestrap V10 http://db.tt/0sozy2za
-open Safestrap V10 and install Recovery, reboot in Recovery
-create RomSlot1, Activate and restore StockICS Backup on RomSlot1
-Reboot. If Bootloop: go to Recovery and wipe Data and Cache (Factory Reset)
-Reboot and have Fun with StockICS on RomSlot1.

At this time the internal memory have only a size of 1,97gb.
In V9 only can make backup of Stock Slot.
In V10 only can restore to RomSlot and Stock (only tested cache)

Followed this procedure and everything worked fine.
Now i'm using the stock rom in Slot 1 to get a "multiuser" experience.

Thanks
