The latest update is 1.6.0_268.4 not .6 for most of us. You have a newer version because you have the 3g version of xoom 2.I just got my Xoom 2. I have Android 3.2.2 and Build-number: 1.6.0_268.6-MZ616

i formated through android recovery and then rooted and made few changes you did and most off the problems that had with my tablet gone ...I was having all the common issues - freezing, reboots etc. Every single day! Ever since I rooted my xoom 2 last week removed all bloatware & crap apps changed my kernel govnor with setcpu to ondemand from moto, I have not had any issues with anything since

Thanks mate. I actually took the time to find out how to change my IP, and did not work either with a UK address, so I guess we will have to wait. That being said, she did say that it is not region specific, so hopefully that answers Andario's question.
I´ve just done this exactly as you said, and did not work either. Did it work for you?Try going into apps. All apps and find "Google services framework". Force stop it. Then clear data. Shut down and restart. Now check for updates.
