It is not slated to be updated as far as i know. Contact motorola. This is so unfair and silly. I think all xoom 2 and xyboard users who were left out for 4.1.2 update should directly contact Punit Soni through Google+ and ask for 4.1.2 updates at the least. It should not cost that much of a time and resource for motorola engineers to port a working release of the xyboard 4.1.2 to other xoom2/xyboard variants. Ask nicely, Punit may make a difference to patch this unfairness. :angel:

Have downloaded the file from http://www.teamblackhat.net/theoran...T_127-127-release-keys-cid2-Verizon-US.tar.gz.

These are posted in this thread in post 785.
I need help as to how do we install it when the ICS leaked (http://www.xoomforums.com/forum/mot...guide-ics-leak-install-any-droid-xyboard.html) update had come we had to place a zip file in the tablets cache memory and simply reboot.

I don't think this time the same method is going to work. I tried to put the tablet in fastboot mode but the drivers are not properly installed.
gives a error "FASTBOOT Pasteur S --- failed" Any idea where to get these drivers?
I noticed after unzipping the files there is a batch file to run which
I think waits for the device to be in fastboot mode.

Apologies for jumping from one topic to another.
Just need a proper direction as to how to go about the OTA Update

Anyone have a trick to fast this update file for MZ615?
I tried remove radio.img/ edit .xml/ replace files from ICS fastboot file but no luck. Always fail when flash "system.img"

There is a way to update manually..have been watching all the goings on with the update, and all the bricked 10.1's, and all the action in the Motorola owners forum for the XYBoard 10.1..I hate to see everyone so disappointed, when there is no need..the owners forum is trying to help..

If you want help with updating your XYBoard 10.1 MZ617 ONLY..then there is help, but one must be familiar with the RSDLite (fxz) process..or send it to me, you can be Rooted also, if you wish, no charge, you pay the freight both ways, that's it..and probably, may not loose your present data on your device..

I adore the XYBoard 10.1, I own more than one, and want to help fellow XYB'ers how ever I can..

1. change boot.img and recovery.img from backup.zip
to inside ROM VRZ_7.7.1-85_MZ609-31_1FF.xml
2. flash with RSD 5.6
flash all ok
restart normal without eror
green android and flash process - all ok
after restart logo Motorola, litlle flash LCD, and stop boot.

3. reset PAD (volume + and - and Power)
4. go to stock recovery
5. this is recovery with sideload
select - apply update from ADB
6. Windows PC

process 10-15 min
after command`s will begin file upload to PAD
