Could someone please help, I have googled hours for this. I purchased a mz617 otherwise known as a xyboard 10.1 about 3 months ago for my mother, it came with ice cream sandwich, well the other day an update popped up for what I believe is jelly bean update and it downloaded. After restart it shows red moto logo and goes to black screen. I then googled and saw where others have had same problem as I have but motorola wants to charge me $150 to flash when I only gave $170. I think since it's there fault that they put out a bad update that they should take the responsibility to fix. Anyways I'm not very experienced with droid itself but am with computer, and other tech. Just need the necessary files to flash or whatever I need to do to get back up and running. It's my moms only way to access Internet as she doesn't have or want a computer. I would be very much appreciate and would offer donation or whatever else type of payment for time thru paypal. Thanks and have a great day.

tested only mz609 after downgrade Android 4.1.2 to Android 4.0.4
Restore normal fresh Android 4.1.2

1.have a brick - after OTA update to 4.1.2 - attempt to downgrade to 4.0.4
2. on hdd c:\Android withs complet ADB, fastboot
3. drivers setup

2. flash with RSD 5.6
flash all ok
restart normal without eror
green android and flash process - all ok
after restart logo Motorola, litlle flash LCD, and stop boot.

3. reset PAD (volume + and - and Power)
4. go to stock recovery
5. this is recovery with sideload
select - apply update from ADB
6. Windows PC

code to flash update:

cmd
cd c:\Android
adb devices
adb sideload c:\Android\Blur_Version.12.11.31.MZ609.Verizon.en.US.zip

process 10-15 min
after command`s will begin file upload to PAD
cheking files
chekin system befor update
patching and flashing

after flash - restart system and all OK

I followed this instructions to the Tee...but my machine is stuck in AP Fastboot Fash mode with boot failure. The last message on the screen is Invalid CG Version (CG: Boot)

Does anyone have the files to unbrick an MZ607 that's been previously upgraded as a Verizon MZ609 to 4.1.2 but then accidentally downgraded to 4.0.4 (and failed)?

This so worked for me my tablet has been sitting in a drawer for 6 months after i deleted some files and it would not boot anymore. This totally fixed it thanks so much.
