- Make sure system is mounted as rw. I dont use es file explorer. So I dont know where to change it in es file explorer.
- Make sure es file explorer has root permissions and that you haven't denied it when superSU asks
- Make sure you have enough free space in /system partition for the apk

do the same procedure using root explorer instead of es file explorer..it will work!!

Great work! Thanks a lot for this! Working great in my LWW! BTW can someone share the musicwidget.apk to use to get the walkman widget? i tried the one in ThilinaC's xperia z home port thread, but it doesnt show up in the widgets menu

works great, thanks! but I see on your screenshots that the icon labels are to the right of the icons, while on my XMP they're below and are overlapping the icons a bit. any fix for this?

I tried with root explorer and this time i was able to move the home.apk to systwm/app and set permission to rw-r-r....still after i restart it i do not get the launcher....when i tried to install it from sysyem/app i am getting app not installed message....pls someone help

I am not sure about this but maybe you guys require some of the framework files from ThilinaC's port. Like I first tried ThilinaC port and then as the latest v3.5 doesnt work for mdpi I came here and installed the launcher in this thread. So if you don't mind giving it a try then first flash ThilinaC's v3.5 (I tried the hdpi 5x4 version which would give you a 3x3 launcher) then move the launcher on this thread and overwrite it over the home from ThilinaC's port.

No. Flash ThilinaC launcher 1st. That itself would copy his home.apk into ur system/app. Then goto /system/app and delete that home.apk. Then copy the home.apk in this thread to system/app and set permissions and reboot. Make sure you always have atleast one launcher instlled in ur phone while you do all this maybe trebuchet or apex launcher.

you just push your backed up launcher to /system/app and replace the current one. and if you haven't backed it up, you just grieve. or ask somebody to upload you the stock one from their phone.
