I'm unable to root my phone (tried almost all software but still no one is unable to root my phone). I'm running Stock ICS installed via SUS & Locked Bootloader (I lost my Original Firmware during full format). Can I install this kernel on Locked Bootloader? Also, will this kernel root my phone surely?

As far as I know you can't flash recovery on locked bootloader
and if you did either you flash a normal kernel and flash the root with the CWM
or you flash an auto root kernel and your device will be rooted automatically

ICS 6.1.1.C.1.0 --> Part 2: Xperia U ST25i_6.1.1.C.1.0.part2.rar - 95.78 MB

After downloading these two files and when I extract, its asking for part 3. Where is that ?

I'm very new to xperia U. Was familiar with Samsung devices. Anybody can tell me the simple procedure? Stock ICS Firmware 6.1.1.B.1.10 , Locked bootloader, Un-rooted, No custom recovery installed.

Will be a big favor if any body can head me to the Unlocking bootloader guide for me, & flashing this kernel? Plus Am i right that after flashing this kernel on my stock firmware i'll get root & custom recovery installed?

and yes you'll get a recovery installed after flashing a custom kernel like Experimental kernel
